Yummy, I was not aware that we used Fenugreek in aou curry in Mauritius....

Use stone ground home made masala,.you can't beat a that taste,curry powder you buy from shop doesn't cut the mustard
U should hve added the tomatoes at last...it would hve thicken the consistency of the gravy.
I'm sure your original recipe was for mutton, and no thyme
I always boiled it first to remove the rare taste...
