Your beautifully shot video brought back great memories of hiking this with my wife and son in August 2023. Amazing hike! Thanks for all the work that went into filming and editing.
Wow, thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it 🙂 You are going to have the most incredible time in July. I still think this is one of the most amazing trails I have ever hiked.
WowzAAA! If that video doesn't make you want to go to Iceland I don't know what will. Brb, rewatching the video again. Great job Kendra! Can't wait to see your next adventure 🤩
Thanks for sharing Kendra! My wife and I hiked these trails over 4 days in August of 2019. You brought back some fond memories of what I still think of as one of our favorite treks.
Thanks so much, Alex! This is definitely a different style of video compared to my others. I really wanted to landscape to speak for itself - so I'm happy you caught the vibe!
@@Alex10Adventures Just TH-cam and Instagram. I post more regular updates about my travel via Instagram and post my films on TH-cam. I'll be heading to Guatemala later this month for an upcoming film, then later the France, Italy, British Columbia, and Bhutan over the coming months. Woow woow I have a question i am about to make the same hike after 3 weeks How did you manage charging your gears I asked the huts doesnt have electricity to charge
Truthfully, we didn't use a map. The trail is very well marked; however, it is easy to get lost and turned around if the weather is bad. Poor visibility is very common along this trail and many people have gotten lost. I highly recommend downloading a map to your phone using an app. That way you can track yourself and follow the trail via satellite. We carried a paper map with us that we bought at the start of the hike, but we never used it.
We went in September, just a few days before the trail closed for the season. The perks of going in September is that there are far less people hiking the trail. The cons is that the weather can be pretty dicey. Regardless, I highly recommend going in September!

Hi great nature.. did you use to map? It’s first time or have you been before.. I love to hike there but I have no friend … Can I hike alone there?
