Sad story: I live in MA and a local bee-keeper has had hives set up for 8 years. A bear came through and took them all out.. Nothing left. So sad. :( Thank you for all the work you do with Bees! They are so vital to the eco system. :)
@@kevinbyrne4538 I hope they do but who knows. Although we are in the suburbs of Boston, there is wildlife present. I only live about 10 miles away and I've never seen a bear. Plenty of turkeys, coyote, raccoons, etc. but thankfully, no Yogis! :)

For some reason bees hit me right in the empathy! I found this out when you re-hived the commercial bee yard. I almost cried through the whole thing! Now this queen is breaking my heart :'(
You got a good break on that one as far as location. Bricks, bathrooms, and second stories will run me off in a heartbeat....I had my hands on Mr. Ed's everything vac yesterday but didn't have the heart, or the diminished morals, to sneak it into my truck. It sure was fancy...
Every time I run across bees going in at the side of a chimney or under a bathroom I just want to get back in the truck and drive away. Next time you go to the abbey let me know and I'll sneak Mr. Ed's vac in your truck. That way you can sleep soundly knowing you weren't the one with low morals. :)
You do what you need to do. YT is making it harder and harder for folks to make any money with their channels. If "tarting up" your titles helps, then go for it!

Your title had me, MR. Rooster! I thought for sure we were in for bad news. I concur with you so long as what the video is titled DOES pertain, I stick around. There's nothing wrong with sprucing up the title to encourage a few more people click through to the video. I've left several of my ATF channels for click baiting. That annoying voice guy with the car repair channel, Scotty.......I left his channel for all the click baits. The videos NEVER had anything to do with the title he chose! After several months of it I lost interest in his channel, & unsubscribed. Here's wish you & yours a healthy, happy, very Merry Christmas!
I know what you mean. I follow one channel in particular who is growing like a weed but the titles are always some tragedy or something that never really happened. Like it'll be a picture of him and his wife with their back to each other and the title would be "We're done". Then you find out they're done paying for cable TV or something stupid like that.

Nice little hive. You should have had the monkobile follow you out there for a little training session. Especially on how to work a cutout without pissing off the bees and being able to work without a veil. It would also let Mr Ed see just how easy a queen is to spot. I know the age has something to do with the eyesight, but you still could have shared a few pointers. Can't wait for the next video. Our winter slowdown sucks.

Im sure your audience will understand that you have to work with the algorithm in order to secure your channels relevance. You're right, you can't teach people if they never come to your channel. That's just too funny! I borrowed my Gen 2 to a local fellow I've been mentoring. And when I needed it, I just grabbed a new one with the new bells and whistles! I've got about 30 of these stacked up & ready for my Christmas customers. And lots going to Australia right now (summertime there).
