World Snooker 1990 1st Round Dennis Taylor v Neal Foulds (Best of 19) Read FULL description

1st round encounter between Taylor and Foulds from the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield. Presented by David Vine. This footage was taken from an old VHS recorded on LP which makes it harder to convert as it was on a different recorder. This footage was then improved using software but is a laborious process. It's as good as I could get it and is perfectly watchable. The larger the screen it is viewed on the worse it will appear so I wouldn't recommend watching on a HD tv. On youtube however on the smaller screen it is better than average.

Absolutely love this. Very much of the period 😀. Dennis played very poorly and missed every long pot by the proverbial mile. But you know what, it doesn’t matter. Dennis sealed his place in history just 5 years earlier. And just for Dennis, a couple of fabulous DDKs thrown in for good measure. Fabulous entertainment 👍👍👍

Steady Eddie was a fine player and as we hear here a fine commentator. I dislike the way people cite him as an example of how standards were not that high back in his day.

At least 6 of the frames that chancer Taylor won foulds should have won . It’s still beyond me how that bog trotter became world champion. That pink to black was laughable in frame 13
