I can't believe that was 1982. I remember sitting watching this with my family before heading up to bed for school in the morning. These were the great days of Snooker.
The good old days of Snooker. Used to love watching the games during the 1980. I can remember when i finished school i would rush home to watch the games that were on the bbc channel. Loved watching Alex Higgins and Jimmy White.
Saw that when it was shown. I watched every session I could back then (when I wasn't in school) Great characters in the game that you just don't get anymore.
How we miss some real great players here . ESPECIALLY the Hurricane who when we think of him theres a lump in our throat and tear rolling down our cheek. ❤👏👏👏👏👏👏
The music is very good !! This is represent 80's snooker in one video. In time when steve davis and jimmy white is like a kid around with older opponent like Ray Reardon , Alex Higgins Hendry not even turn pro , Ronnie is just 6 years old in 1982
@@parksyist cos he was a legend & a hero to many & was not destined for a long happy life & he lived round the corner from where i grew up in manchester
I love these old Entertainer compilations. This is back when snooker was actually interesting and watchable, the players were all characters in their own right, they used to have a laugh, a drink and a smoke during the game. Now they just sit there fart-faced, too scared to do anything in between shots except sip their water. Boring as hell.

Great memories of a wonderful bygone age of snooker.
The greatest era of the game for characters & entertainment, so many great memories of this time in the wonderful game.
There will never be characters in snooker like there were then. Great times.
now come on , the "jester from Leicester" raised an eyebrow last week, comedy gold

RIP Alex Higgins and Ray Reardon who were finalists in 1982

Should bring The Entertainer back for the World Championship now
Out of all of them the only man still playing is Jimmy white , remarkable really!
Not really after 40 years
Snooker's golden age.
A very young Kirk Stevens having a chuckle with his mate Jimmy , the things they got up to on a night out !!!
fantastic
I remember watching this
Far too many of those players sadly no longer with us.
Alex Higgins brought snooker to the masses.
The good old days

+Wastedon4loko Couldn't agree more. Back then watching snooker was plain fun. How I miss the Hurricane, Big Bill and The Count.
+VainEldritch Dont forget Jimmy !! Best player never to win the world championship.
VainEldritch
Mind you, if Terry Griffiths & Eddie Charlton were drawn together....
@@Wasted_on_4loko Jimmy still plays as a pro though, and I guess he'd rather forget about that epithet.
Snooker was fun and entertaining back then there no characters in the game it is too robotic now.
