Great video! Thank you 😊
Thanks for watching!
This is a vintage Papa Pineapple video showing the vastness of the Villages growth! I just enjoy your videos a lot! Your videos helped me make my decision to move to the Villages. Thanks Papa!
Thank you very much!
Thanks for the updates. My wife and I are building in the cottage neighborhood, right behind the Shadybrook recreation center. I see that there is one foundation being started there, so it won't be long before our neighborhood is in the midst of the action.
That is awesome! Congratulations, I am sure your house will be done in a couple months!
Thanks. We are looking forward to the move, and all of the recreational opportunities down there.
Hi Dale , we’re also building there , Lot 9…… what lot are you ?
We will be in lot 52. Across the street from the 2 homes backed up to the pool. Have you heard anything about a completion date for the neighborhood? We will be down in 2 weeks to meet with the designer and then do the down-payment.
It looks like you may be one of those homes backed up to the pool. Hello neighbor!!!
man.. its hard to wrap my head around so much new construction!! And, based on what I can see in your videos, it looks like there is a lot of green (undeveloped) space around... if I'm seeing things properly? Either way, very interesting.
The west and the south are still pretty rural for now. Almost the entire area around The Villages is trees and green.
@@PapaPineapples it's amazing!! can you do a post if/when they acquire more land? I would sure be interested in it!! Thanks for the content. Very cool
Very informative. Thanks for the great video ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice video, as always. The Villages haven't broken ground on my lot. 😢
They will soon I'm sure!
Ayye finally youtube is pusbing your video to my notifications. Great video!
Thanks! Now we just need to get down there and film something together
Thanks 🙏🏻 These flyovers are great.
Nice to see the progress.
But it’s hard to align what you see from the air with what we see from the ground.
So it would be great if you would flyover along a road we would travel from the ground (if that’s possible, or legal). Like from the Southern Oaks bridge to Middleton. Or from Magnolia Plaza to Eastport. I hope you get the idea.
Being new, I don’t know Central Parkway from Barr Blvd (or where they go). Also, that way we’d have a sense of where one Village starts and another ends.
It just looks so different from a golf cart or eBike on a multimodal path.
Anyway, please keep up the good work. It’s great watching the development and how everything grows in.
Thanks, I will keep that in mind!
My wife and I are building in Shadybrook, and I had the same problem when I started watching drone videos too. I learned to use the Villages app on my phone while watching the videos on my television. Open the app to the map on the homes and homesites for sale. After a short time you will start being able to line up the ponds and the roads and be able to follow where they are flying. Hope that helps.

We live in Newell (on the other side of the turnpike) and they’ve only opened most of our the roads on your side recently. I’ve been riding around there on my eBike for months (only on Sunday so as to not get in the way of the construction). It’ll be beautiful over there when everything’s in 👍🏻
Welcome to the Villages 👏🏻
I am sure that it is a much different perspective from the ground. We are still in Tennessee, so I am watching a few drone channels like this one to keep up on the progress. Another is Don Wiley with GoldWingnut. His have a few more captions and flightplans on a map in one of the corners of the screen. Thanks for the welcome!!!
Awesome 😊 Video 👍
Thank you 🤗
Too many homes not enough shopping, restaurants, etc. Many streets are not wide enough and have no gutters. Thus it has a rural look. The driveways are not deep enough on most homes.
It is hard for them to fill the retail areas with shops, I believe because of the high lease rates. Spanish Springs square is losing a lot of businesses.
@@PapaPineapples Loads of homes already built are just sitting for a new owner.,
You must be a real estate developer that has a proven track record of billions of dollars in home sales. Where is your development?
The Florida Real estate market has weakened in the last Year, the go go days of Covid a memory. It is more expensive to live in Florida to include Taxes, and Insurance. I would not buy new in Villages and pay top dollar as the deals are in the pre owned inventory, with people wanting out of Florida.
They just put up the numbers and The Villages is up 14% YoY in new home sales so it hasn't affected it much
