On a FLOYD COLLINS jag, having gotten out my old cd and listened to it a lot the last couple of Lee's. You sing Floyd beautifully. The one production I've seen of the show, many years ago, did not have the song about wanting a girl someday, and I wonder if Adam G wrote it later. Why wouldn't they have included it on the ocr if it were in the show, especially as the recording isn't terribly long? Meanwhile, that production (which was generally quite good) made me unhappy by cutting the middle section of Floyd's opening segment ("It Moves"), which was a not, in my opinion, a good move, though I've read that it's been cut in many productions. I hope the Steinhardt production included it. Wish I could have seen it, and your Floyd. Bravo.

Why did this system change "weeks" to "Lee's"? And this kindle version won't let me edit. Oy.

To answer about And She'd Have Blue Eyes, it was indeed in the original production and is one of three songs in the score not capture on the album. In this case if this particular song, perhaps it disrupted the flow of the album? It makes me sad, because it's a gorgeous little piece.

I'm glad this never made it, not that it isn't beautiful and a good song, but floyd was never someone who dated or wanted someone. Some of his family even believed he had a fetish for caves, there was however a lie by the media circus that claimed that a woman was Floyd's gal, but this was just a lie. It's a great song, but it's just not accurate
