    Excelent point in regards that people who speak in "tongues" speak similary like others in the same church.

    I’m sorry, but a born again believer cannot be addicted to pornography. Christ sets us FREE from the penalty and bondage to sin!
    “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John‬ ‭8‬:‭36‬

    How can you join Christ to a harlot? You CANNOT love the world nor the things in the world and be of Christ.

      Are you implying that a born again Christian does not Sin?
      you need to understand that is a process and God will be the one the heals you from any sin you have in your heart. Yes you're right we are free from anything, however it doesn't change the fact that we are still human and sin every day.

    • @JesusIsESSENTIAL
      @JesusIsESSENTIAL หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@joshuaclavel9666I didn’t say that we won’t ever sin. But you cannot partake in pornography and be a born again believer. Or any sexual immorality for that matter. Can we fall? Yes. But we don’t keep repeating the same sexual behavior. Porn in particular is taken far too lightly today and far too many will be condemned on the Day of Judgement for not truly repenting from that gross immorality. Sexual immorality of any kind isn’t even supposed to be named among Christ’s church!
      “But sexual immorality and all [moral] impurity [indecent, offensive behavior] or greed must not even be hinted at among you, as is proper among saints [for as believers our way of life, whether in public or in private, reflects the validity of our faith].”
      ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭3‬ ‭AMP‬‬
      We are the temple of the Holy Spirit and should not be joining Him to filth.
      “Run away from sexual immorality [in any form, whether thought or behavior, whether visual or written]. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the one who is sexually immoral sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is within you, whom you have [received as a gift] from God, and that you are not your own [property]? You were bought with a price [you were actually purchased with the precious blood of Jesus and made His own]. So then, honor and glorify God with your body.”
      ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭18‬-‭20‬ ‭AMP‬‬
      Our bodies are not our own but belong to Christ. Imagine if the Jews would have polluted the old Temple in such a way.. such a lack of the fear of the Lord these days! Such a lack of holiness and biblical Christianity! Oh how I can’t wait for the Lord to come set the record straight! We’ve become the frog boiled in the proverbial pot.

      @@joshuaclavel9666 There is willful sin and unwillful sin. (Heb 10:26) just like there is a ignorant sin and a presumption sin ( Num 15:27, 30) just like there is “sin which is not unto death, and sin that is unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.” ( 1 Juan 5:16-17)
      A person who is not born again will sin willingly and willfully, there will be no remorse or sorrow in doing it, he will feel bound to sin not knowing how to free himself, drinking sin like water (Job 15:16), still delighting in it, but once he has come to see the sinfulness of his sins in the light of God's holiness and is saved by faith! He is truly freed from all known sin, conscious sin!! of course there is much more that he will have to grow in understanding and the Lord will be showing him in the process of his sanctification, but that does not mean that he will sin again as before but this time he will be running with all his heart after the Lord and if he will sin in some way that he did not know he will repent with all his heart and learn more and more growing in the truth and hating more and more the sin that God is showing him! So the difference is that now HE HAS THE POWER OVER SIN AND NO MORE SIN OVER HIM!

    This preachers teaches that GOD DOES NOT LOVE EVERYONE! Calvinism is heresy. Just imagine having this pastor over to dinner some can meet your family and when someone asks him, "does God really love me?". He could say yes, but he would be dishonest with himself, because in his theological framework, he teaches that the Lord Jesus DID NOT DIE FOR THE WHOLE WORLD!! BUT only for the elect. Stay away from men who teach false doctrines. John 3:16 is the Gospel and gives mankind a way to be saved. Believe on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved. How awesome it is that God knew the Gospel message HAD TO BE simple so ANYONE COULD UNDERSTAND IT, especially little children. Did you ever meet an child that came to faith in Christ through learning the confused theological chaos of Calvinism? NEVER, I bet. God is love.

    While he inspires me he is doing Lord's work, when he talks about those evangelistic techniques it sounds that he uses some sort of inducing methods, putting pressure on the listener to be convinced by himself that is saved and then he says that's Spirit's work, you don't see this behaviour in the New Testament. And how can he prove that those people who in the end ended having doubts about their salvation at that moment in time would not go through the same thing later. It seems to me a psychological technique.
    So what's the point: he says he will not try to convince someone but will stay with him/her untill they will get by themselves at the conclusion they are saved. It sounds doubtful to me, I wouldn't trust this.

That is where your confusion is. We don't allow preachers to come on stage and speak to the congregation in toungues, because it requires and interpreter but praying in toungues is between you and God and it edifies the spirit not the mind. That is NOT correct. As much as I disagree with Washer on most everything, he is correct in saying the speaking in tongues, foreign languages, was done away with. It was given to first century Christians so they could witness to people of all different nations without having to learn different languages.
      Once the Christian congregations were established, those gifts were done away with. The senseless babbling people utter today are not gifts of the Spirit, they are demonic!

      Honestly not trying to start an argument, I’m trying to sift through this subject myself and want to hear both sides, but what would be the benefit of speaking in tongues if you and no one else knew what you were saying? How would that edify? Blessings to you my friend.

    • @lawrence1318
      @lawrence1318 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@HumbleRustic The edification to the speaker consists in the fact that his/her spirit is speaking, by-passing the mind. The edification is in the spirit, not the intellect.
      With regard to those listening, yes you are correct, for as the apostle says, it is no use blessing in the spirit with others in close attendance, for then you are edified in the spirit but the listener doesn't know what you are saying and is not benefitted by your blessing.
      But tongues in general are mostly for private use - private prayer life. And this is one of the reasons they do not have to be in existing earthly languages, otherwise God were a fool, speaking in Japanese or Nepalese when there are none of that nationality within earshot.
      But you need to understand that the gift of tongues, which is primarily for the edification of the speaker and secondarily for the building up of the body if there is an interpreter present, only comes via the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Most believers today have not received this Baptism. They have the Holy Spirit within them (it is the very reason they believe and are saved) but the Holy Spirit has not come UPON them for power and supernatural gifts.
      Feel free to ask me further.

      @@HumbleRustic, that's an easy answer. People forgot to realize that the Apostle Paul had to confront the church at Corinth not once but twice. ...a third time? Bible commentary: The church at Corinth was a seriously troubled church. The body of believers infected with sexual immorality, split by factions that dragged each other into court and crippled by abuse of spirituals, and this church needed radical spiritual surgery. ...We have jumped forward to chapter 14 missing chapters 1-13. The church at Corinth was not a church to follow in any direction - carnal. Sectarianism Is Sin! Now I plead with you, brother, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ -that you speak the same thing and that there be NO divisions among you ...perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. ...Sectarianism Is Carnal! Chapter Five - Immorality Defiles the Church - It is actually reported that there IS sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality is not named among the Gentiles - that a man has his father's wife! And you are puffed up and have not rather mourned, that he who has done this deed might be taken away from among you.
