It looked pretty rough in the beginning but seems better and better. I am surprised how green it is. Adventure comes sometimes when least expected. Drive safe. Cheera from Sweden
Thanks Ray for the mention. Not needed, I'm just the old guy in awe of you're spirit and resilience. How you roll with it amazes me. Keep on keeping on. If this isn't a slow burner I don't know what is. God (whoever she is)speed.
Thanks Terry. I'm just happy that someone outside of my family is actually watching and enjoying this! How I roll with it amazes me too sometimes. When I think of some of the countries ahead of me I'm terrified! But when I get there I'm sure it will be hunky dory, as David Bowie says. Take care, Ray.
Thanks Ray. Appreciated! You certainly are very brave ( but perhaps with a bit of Lady Luck thrown in) - or bloody mad - -to get through the last few days of your adventure, more or less unscathed. Having a friendly homestay organised was obviously a huge relief and sounds like the hostel will work for you too. Traveling is all about the people you meet. Looking forward to the mountain ride. Go well.
Cheers Warwick. Yes my intro to Pakistan was confronting to say the least. Happy to announce it's just gotten better and better each day. Internet service is patchy so regular 3-4 day output may not be possible but the footage is there waiting to be released! Hope the trip to Vietnam is still on the cards.
@@2wheels2everywhere22 Thanks Ray. Yep, I can certainly appreciate that the internet service would be dodgy. Yes, leave for Vietnam on Thursday with a stop over in KL. The resilience of the Vietnamese people is astonishing! What they can achieve in a few days is just amazing.
Iam from sheikhupura, and i saw the couple which i think you mentioned wass from Netherlands, they were sitting outside the stadium in sheikhupura, i think Infront of a chips corner, i was really happy to see some tourism here. ❤ Best wishes for you brother.
Thank you for your honest feedback Sir! No need to sugarcoat anything and say what you see. They will try to steer you towards the north but the center and south is also the reality. Good thing is that You will get used to of it. We need to adopt the western standards of maintenance and cleanliness since there is no harm in adopting them. Orderliness is highly praised in our religion too, but people pick whatever is convenient for them and leave the rest for someone else to take care. After pondering over the reasons, i think that the Only reason that you would keep your country this dirty is because you are training the people to survive in worst environment (neighboring country). The other reason could be to discourage any colonization adventures.
It's sad to see, but it's also amazing to experience the kindness and hospitality of the Pakistani people. I honestly think the leadership of the country and institutions bear most of the responsibility. Education needs to be emphasised as the #1 priority. Health and infrastructure next. I read this morning that the IMF just made an emergency loan of USD $7 billion to Pakistan. I hope they use thay money wisely.
@@2wheels2everywhere22 I hope that they are wise about using it. However, past patterns suggest otherwise. There needs to be an upgrade in the system. Awesome and natural videos by the way. Keep up the good work
Glad to hear your journey continues Ray, quite a variety of roads and places there. 👍 Must be great seeing the cultural differences and I realise "what a shithole" in no way detracts from the diversity you're passing through 😂 Good to experience different and new things, especially the food (although I get that you have to be cautious sometimes) Safe travels! 🏍️

@MWS193 Yes the people of Pakistan deserve much better from their leaders and institutions. Cheers
