- Hi friends! This is the first video in a series of videos about how to wholesale your small or handmade business to retailers. In this video I will be going through pricing and all the different elements you should think about when pricing your products to sell to retailers at wholesale prices. I hope this video gives you some clarity and helpful tips on how you can sell wholesale and scale your business while maintaining profitability.

Biggest Mistake I did was I wanted a wholesale account SO bad they where SO friendly and local ! I gave them a bar of EVERY soap and a jar of every product over a retail value of $150 and t hey ghosted me! 100% I will never ever do that again! Good to see you back!
It’s the worst! I learned the hard way when I was ghosted on a $1,600 order myself. We all learn but hopefully I can save some people from making those mistakes!

I cannot express how much this video spoke to me.
I know its not a very emotional video and its more informative, but I have struggled so long because I struggle to move my product at 2x my COGS because I'm not buying in big bulk. It makes the imposter syndrome SO BIG and this is gives so much permission and solidarity. Thank you!

The issue I sometimes have is keeping myself motivated, how do you do it? Maintaing a level of excitement about your products and company becomes challenging during the winter. I would love to see a video on this in the future.

It can be a little overwhelming and feel like a huge decision. Definitely take the time to figure out your cost of goods so you protect yourself form loosing money or breaking even!

And then there are countries like mine where you have to pay 50% in taxes… so if you sell it at double the price, you don’t have a profit.
