- Hi friends! We have a lot to catch up on today. It's been almost 4 months since my last upload and I want to give you some info on what's been going on. We are going to chat all things holiday season, slow sales, the small business economy, and what my game plan is for 2024. I hope you know that I've missed you these past few months and I do plan on uploading more videos this year, they will just be a bit different from our usual format.

Well I must say that I am glad to see you back as well! I checked in some months ago and was wondering where you were but figured you got things going on and I checked your Instagram too so I knew you were doing all the things. I get it! Hard to keep up sometimes. I have been super busy too lately with a graduating high school senior and a kitchen remodel going on that when I checked back in on your channel, I saw all the new videos and said, woah...I got some catching up to do! I have always loved your channel and your sharing of things and I hope you keep that up. I know you said you have thick skin and I believe you do, but don't worry about the naysayers. They really are the few and you share what you want to and if some things are yours alone, that is your right to do so. Some people share it all and are very open and transparent and some are a little less open and transparent and I admire and respect them all. I can learn something from each of them and get value out of it. It takes all kinds to make this world go round as my mama would always tell me, so you keep doing you and stay true to that because when you stray from it, you are not doing anyone a service, especially yourself. I am so glad you are back and I look forward to your content and especially about your markets. I need to get my butt moving on getting into some of those around my area and I do believe you have given me the motivation for that! Thanks for all you do and share! You are appreciated! 😊

Goodness I’ve missed ya! Thank you for the update! I think it’s safe to say we all need to keep our chins up and keep going as best we can. Things have slowed for me as well, but I’m determined to stay in it no matter how small my place in this world is. Hang in there!

Hi lovely, thank you for sharing everything that’s been happening behind the scenes! I genuinely hope you’re doing well! Like I said before and I’ll say it again, definitely don’t share your manufacturer details. As a business owner myself, I completely understand! All the suppliers I use are based upon months of my own research and learnt SO much! In fact I’m still researching to this day. If you do share important details, viewers will keep expecting you to keep sharing more information for the easy route just like you said which is sooo true! Building a business is hard but such a great experience! We will all learn in own way for what is meant to be ☺️ Keep your boundaries strong, it will be worth it! ❤️

Welcome back! I know it wasn’t how you planned for things to happen, but your rebrand is beautiful! You keep doing you and don’t worry about the 1% who feel better by bringing others down. I would love to know more about wholesale especially since you have a unique perspective from your past work experiences. Also, if you are able to give some advice and tips about finding/creating packaging I would love to learn more (do you work with graphic artists, if so how do you find them, what catches a buyers eye, what to expect in the process,etc). I look forward to seeing more of you here and on your other platforms!

Ive seen several people on IG in the last 9 months copy everything from a small soap business owner thats been around for 3-4 years. From the style of soap, to the colors, to the essential oils, to the way they film their videos, what they do in the videos, talk in their videos, and even down to the packaging and other products they sell...no originality whats so ever and they have thousands of followers and sell out during their restocks all from copying someone elses work. While those who worked hard to create their brand are struggling to make sales...its crazy.
Let people do their own work in finding what they need for their business...thats what it means to be a business owner..do your own work, with your own originality.

Yay welcome back🎉My body care business is at it’s 2 year mark and it’s such a struggle. My only strategy I could come up with this year is markets! Online is not doing well and I need to get in the community. I would love to see a wholesale video from you. I know you mentioned Faire before but not sure if you still use that platform.

Great to see you Caitlin, I was recommended a wonderful book that helped me through the down time, Robin Sharma " The Greatness Guide" you might have already read this book, but I think it speaks to wear we are all at. It's audio, so like me that how I read lately, lol. It's an inspirational book, business book and wonderful.

I have a content idea im interested in hearing about from you...can you do a general information chat or demo of ingredients that are used in making products... not about your items per say just about using ingredients sourcing them and how to in general. Okay I literally have been struggling on this too, I just signed a new contract yesterday so let me give it some time…but I’m happy to share more once I have more info!
Attention -- it has been so crazy to see how hard you have to try to make sure you keep it. Part of you wants to resist bc it "shouldn't" be this way... the other part knows that part of growth (online, anyway) is to draw and keep that attention. It's a hard reality!
And totally agree with you about getting scrappy & going back to some basics (like high end customer service and relationship).
