It would be nice to see the end results after the restoration has been done on ALL the articles that are bought by Drew. What we are seeing now is a little bald guy buying scrap.
There's plenty of spin-offs showing the restoration....the little bald guy makes his money by recognising what the scrap is really worth and buying it at the right price.
It was exactly what was rolling in my head, want to see masters restoring all those amazing pieces. Double time video, back to back, from buying to selling
How does one make a profit on a chair that is completely ruined and paying £50 for it? I don’t think you can have it restored for under £200 and that’s all it’s worth?
Fully restored some of these old chairs can be worth £2000 and over, he usually strips them off and sells the frame ready for reupholstering by the buyer.
He is buying the original wood and the legs. Upholstery fabric can be changed to new. 50 quid is cheap. Depending on how much drew will be spending on the right fabric, he will make a very high profit. 😊

I like how the owner said it's not worth our while selling that for the small price he was offering they might as well keep it
I have bought worse chairs than that and it always pays off in the end
