I have binge-watched many of these videos and I think they are great. To be honest with you, has anybody else noticed how often Drew says "To be honest with you"?
One thing in these shows that stands out for me is that at times how big a profit Drew can make, especily when he meets a person who has no idea of an item's market value, and they are desperate to sell.
I wonder if UK auction are that much different than the US. I researched an auction and between the hourly fee to inventory and the day of the auction, they were going to take more than 80% of the money the auction brought in. No way! Instead, I had a living estate sale, priced everything myself, did all the advertising and marketing and made more than $9,000 clearing out a lifetime of two big collectors. It was a years worth of work but I got the money!!
One day, the owner of the Charity Boat Works will pass away. All his precious, hoarded things will be scrapped, sold and distributed - including the motorcycles- and the job will be enormous. If you really love something, why stash it away, let it gather dust and be damaged? I don't understand the hoarding mind.
Full junkyard... stuff NOT for sale???? I don't understand that. A million pounds of rusty metal to tinker with. HOw long is the list? How many years does the seller have to be in functioning physical condition? Is it jealousy that the buyer might make a couple of bucks more, so let it sit a couple more years? Seller is in business to sell but doesn't. Boggling.

Simple understanding: hoarding in this status is a mental illness.
I agree sell it let someone buy it for use rather than rust or buried in a landfill which I have seen happen
The hoarder is a mental disease.
No need for critics. It's still his passion and joy, (the most important) and we have nothing to say about it!
What is the craziest price you have ever seen at an auction? 👀💸
I sold a jar of irish fog to some American on ebay. 50.
