He's a full fledged opera singer, so he was totally out of his comfort zone singing this way, with distortion. But it seems he can do about anything, just like Floor., he did a country song for Ruben yesterday.
His voice is something else. I love it. I’m really glad this show has given me rather chance to learn that he exists. If you haven’t seen Rolf Sanchez’s take on Hotel California for Floor, it’s definitely worth a look. Because it’s one of those songs that everyone knows, they’re all super into it and it’s a lot of fun to watch.
I can say, regardless the song or genre, Floor, Henk... any of the 6 there, they have shown why they are "Beste Zangers", best singers, los mejores cantantes.. this was amazing, and as you said.. Floor's smile through the song was beautiful... Thanks Ryan!!
We all have idols, don't we ? Even those who have 'made it', at least if they stayed grounded and didn't get a ridiculously inflated ego. They are those who inspired us or if we are lucking they are our teachers. Even if we by-pass our teachers we usually still have a huge respect for them. It's especially beautiful to see your idol do something so new to them and see them do so well.

Amazing live performance without any auto tuning like that in David Draiman's performance on Conan in 2016, although David claims that they auto tuned him against his wishes. And sitting on a stool no less, which is even more amazing as it's a lot harder to sing sitting down.
Say about David what you will, but he seems an honest performer. During that Conan performance he was quite ill so they had the auto tune ready "just in case" although David said:"Uuuh, no way, guys". They used it anyway and you can see David being annoyed by it when it kicked in.
Henk was nervous.. hes a professional opera singer.. he stated mixing distortion with opera is a huge no no.. but of respect for Floor he did it i think the pronounciation is "best zingers" as in best singers
the title could mean two things in dutch ... best singers (most obvious as in quality)... or dear singers (as in an adress as the way they are performing to eachother)
