Yeah, that is my most favorite TV show that includes singing ever. I still follow what each of the participants is up to. I watched it for floor, but you can't help to fall in love with these people.
You can see it as picking a winner, but mainly it is picking the song that meant the most to them that show.

Love your reactions they're always positive and uplifting. A little insight of 'beste Zangers ' for you. In Dutch it doesn't only means the best singer but also dear singers as in dear singers can you replace me because I fell ill. And that's what's the show in season one was all about, to look for the best replacement for you when you can't preform.

I don't if anyone has mentioned this but, "the band" is the one Floor uses for her solo gigs. They are really good, and obviously Floor appreciated their talents.
Emma Heester has a huge TH-cam following, and that is why she was kind of unknown to the rest of the Singers. She can rock it. haha. She has a great duet with Henk too.

After Floor sang his song About Love I Don't Know a Thing, Rolf (Ruben? ... I forget which is which, sadly) said, through tears, that Floor "... makes everything better." Yes. Yes, she does.

Floor told the band to keep it small, and boy they delivered - Floor obviously delivered also - when does she ever not - and yes Mr H, all other versions are now redundant.

I've seen all these videos of Floor on Beste Zangers countless of times now (and still love them!) but the one thing i never get enough of?

His "wtf is going on!!" face and his smiles and expressions are so funny and genuine, he's just happy to be there and be like a kid in a candy-store.
And Floor.. yes her hum is stronger than many a singer lol, that is actually my favorite part of this song, its so powerful.

It’s not about winning, but the main guest has to chose who made the the biggest impression, for whatever personal reasons. It’s not: he or she is the best. It can just be the choice for a song. Anything goes and everybody is happy! They toast and party!
