Yeah he really deserves it too, as does Emma.
They are so much better than some of the charts-toppers we have, but now they too are part of that, and well deserved.

All these duets Are super good! Rolf is so Mr sunshine and Emma does not be worse at all! Great party song! You really feel like forsed to Dance! I allways keep smiling when Rolf is singing...
I couldnt agree more,Floor is no secret anymore,what she does to me. I hear her voice or see her,im hypnotized. Emma....she peaked my interest by looking absolutely gorgeous in the couch beside all the others,and she was allways excited during theyr performances,smiling and laughing alot. It did not look like it was her first tv appearance to me (but it was),so all the props and credit for her to not make it look like she was extremely nervous,shy or whatever. And i remember thinking "i wonder who she is?? And how does her voice sound like?". First song i heard and saw was Strong (obviously! I watched the show because Floor was in it) Emma blew me away with the sound of her vocals,the impressive range in a "simple but challenging song".....and the way she focused on doing it for Floor. I broke into tears....and (close your eyes Floor!) i crushed hard on this wonderful young woman named Emma! She managed to put me through many emotions at once,wich only Floor had done before. Eventhough they prefer complete opposite genres of eachother,and Emma likes to come off more "glamorous" then Floor,she doesnt overdo it for me. I even loved her take on James Brown`s Sex Machine,wich she did to celebrate Henk Poort. There she showed how playful and a complete performer she can be,on top of bringing flawless vocals. And like i got told about her,Emmas biggest strength is that she has done covers for so many years,with setting up microphones etc,she has mastered the way she handles the mic,how far or close she needs to be to make her voice sound slightly different. To a point where people have questioned if she does playback. People who are "audio nerds" and catches on the to flawless sound,and different vocals being delievered while she is busting moves like a champ. But that is Emmas strength,she has perfected her ways with the microphone. I loved her facial reactions to Rolfs flirt with her during the song. She has that common with Floor too,they really go full into the role of whatever they are singing. Like Floor did with Henk Poort in Phantom Of The Opera,where she was flirtacious,vulnerable,passionate etc,all in one song. I expected a sugar pop sounding vocal from Emma i guess,i guess since she has the somewhat same look like alot of "pop starlets" have,but she cmpletely blew me out the front door.
What an upbeat, happy song! You can't help but smile while listening to this. Rolf & Emma's "flirty" performance definitely makes it more enjoyable as well. Damn, Emma is just soooooo cute! Cheers! Edit: This getting weird, Olly...I posted my comment before you mentioned how happy a song this is. Just like I said before, great minds think alike haha!

Well, I speak Dutch, and Emma's lyrics are describing a woman in severe depression, so that I find really funny.

I'm not a fan of this kind of music. Have heared it when the show was aired, and didn't think much of it. Now hearing it again was a pleasant surprise. I really liked it now, weird right? Sounds just happy and "summer-ish" . Cool reaction!

I love both their voices and stage presence and together they are having a lot of fun, doing what they love (singing and performing)
The more i look back onto this season, the more i realize how ridiculously spoiled we, at home, have been.
The group clicked well together, their skills are way up there and noone added unneeded pressure on anything.
At first i was a bit like "well Floor and Henk are going to be the killers on this" and well, ofc they have been... but they were not alone in that, everyone killed it in his or her own right, such an amazing season.

The popular TV program Beste Zangers will be transformed for the first time into a grand live show next year. On May 23, 2020, former participants gather in the Ahoy in Rotterdam to relive highlights of the past twelve seasons.

The program of Beste Zangers Live features performances by Davina Michelle, Glennis Grace, Floor Jansen, Henk Poort, Emma Heesters, Trijntje Oosterhuis, Julia Zahra and Rolf Sanchez. A new name will be added to this list every week for the next four weeks.

tried to take a look of the video's you made to see if some songs of BESTE ZANGERS were reacted to by you. like your video's. thin k you missed some. TIM AKKERMAN gave the best party when singing MY GIRL (temptations). he made EMMA cry when he lifted justin bieber to a higher level (LET ME LOVE YOU). try HENK POORT singing NOELIA. he sung it for the grandmother of rolf. she always sung it. after she died rolf never listened to it again , was too hard to handle.this was the only song where no one kept dry. and try SOLO OTRA VEZ done by ROLF SANCHEZ. its a spanish version of ALL BY MYSELF ( the celine dion version , personely i prefer the eric carmen version over hers). like floor said about that song , already from the start you are waiting for that 1 special note in it. try and see how rolf does it.

The song is happy, but funnily the lyrics (at least Emma's part) are rather sad. That is the joke of this song, I guess (only for Dutch speakers probably).
Its not a happy song.... it is about a lost love....
