33:25 don't think CX flies A330s for 8-9 hour flights. They only go short-haul nowadays. One disadvantage about the smaller business class cabin is that you get a lot of Economy passengers passing you when boarding which can be hectic, as that section is behind the L2 door, which you won't experience if you sit at the front section.
Yeah, that’s definitely a downside to the smaller cabin, but it’s still quite a cozy way to travel. For sure the most common long-haul experiences are in Cathay’s a350s and 777s - I believe they have some a330neos on the way soon so those will be interesting to try out, too.
Thanks to algorithm that brought me to another amazing channel! I am actually just about to attend Cathay Pacific's cabin crew assessment day in two weeks. This is an informative video I can lean on hahahaha Good to hear that you stopped by Taipei and tried wonton soup. Did you just connect at Taipei or you actually stayed for some days? Definitely try out braised pork rice, beef noodles, popcorn chicken, ...... in Taiwan 🇹🇼 Sending you support from Taiwan!!
Depends how many lounges you want to visit and how much time you want to spend at them. You always want to follow the arrival times the airline gives out, as well as - I believe it was 2 hours before for my CX flight out of HKG.
Great deal for 3 business class flights ✈️ 👏 👍 It looks like in SEA business class seats via travel points is very do-able. Is there a way one could transfer points from one of the big 2 travel points cards to American Airlines to then buy those tickets? Sorry just started learning about points etc.😊
For American there are no transfer partners, easiest route is usually with a cobranded credit card. Definitely a lot of cool opportunities to fly business in SEA!
I don’t think that yellow kiwi is just a HKG thing; it’s sweeter than the green. Dragon fruit slurp, but the pink one is better. Still looked very nice on the flight. Very nice, helpful. Yes staying in your seat, buckled in is very safe since clear air turbulence is always a surprise and can be deadly. 😢

Welcome to the channel! I did spend a few days in Taiwan, will have some content from there in the future.
How early should you arrive at HKG airport if you have a business class ticket with CX?

Apologies if I missed it, how much was the cost of this flight in monetary terms?
Hey, no worries, I've got that in the "How Much I Paid" section at 30:52. I paid about $75 + 22,500 AA miles, but for more than just this flight.

Agree about the dragon fruit, but it's hard to find the pink one in a lot of Asian countries.
@ Strange; it was easy to find in Taiwan 🇹🇼 when I was there, but I can’t remember about Indonesia/Singapore.
@@terryschima4964 Indonesia yes, but not so much in Singapore
Dated product. Mediocre food. SQ trumps CX all the time.
Yeah, I was lucky with a great crew, but hard product very lacking as you saw. Will consider some SQ reviews soon.
@@DavidGTravels Ya you should. Especially on similar routes across SEA. I think the gap widens more when long haul
thanks for the inspiration, also interested to test out both SQ and CX on narrow-body regional routes
