@@chadbuckoll5363 My guitar is tuned to B standard (12-54 gauge), but for AiC, Motorhead, etc. stuff I tune it down by half a step, without playing the low E (B) string. So, while my guitar is mostly in B standard, you already have E tuning as well at the same time (except my B string is tuned to F#). Long story short, use E flat tuning for Alice in Chains! :D
@@MrScrofulous Because Kirk isn't that good with wah, but it may be that "I am now a improve guy" and isn't writing solos as he used to, so the wah feels like a dub for bad directions.
@@MrScrofulous Jimi Hendrix basically lived off wah. (I'm not a Hendrix fan though). Just interesting how the sheep slam one for using it while praising another for also using it.
I was struggling with that transition from the verse to chorus and finally I've thought of 'Cure', which inspired me to make this arrangement. I appreciate your support, thanks!
Denis Pauna is a truly unique rock artist, combining the raw, grunge energy of Kurt Cobain with the anthemic, arena-filling spirit of James Hetfield. His performances are a powerful mix of gritty authenticity and crowd pumping showmanship, capturing both the emotional depth of grunge and the larger-than life presence of classic rock. Denis’s ability to fuse introspection with high energy rock makes him stand out, delivering a performance that’s not just heard but felt. Every video is a testament to his originality and passion for the craft. I truly wish you had an album your music deserves to be heard by even more people!
This is SICK!!!!! Gonna play it on my next Xan's World radio show. Totally not the first time I have featured your tracks, but man you're really shining now. Fvkk'n AWESOME! :)
I almost always prefer your versions to the originals! This is a refeshing alternative to the over familiar and too sugary GNR version and now I like this song again. Thanks
If metallica wrote sweet love AND if it was on AJFA. You missed mentioning the second part 😜 AND also bass is too loud😛 Awesome work man, searching this on spotify
Metallica and Gn'R were two of my favorite bands growing up (still like them both), so this was great. It makes me wonder: can you sing like Axel Rose?
The music to this song needs its own set of lyrics. It is awesome. You need to take all of these songs and make them your own. Start with this one. Make a video called WHAT IF DENIS MADE HIS OWN MUSIC OUT OF THE MUSIC FROM "WHAT IF METALLICA WROTE 'SWEET CHILD O' MINE'" It would be awesome.
Wow this is very good. I can do a good Black Album and Load/Reload era James vocal impression. Would love to lay down some vocals for you for future “What If” Metallica covers
you can feel the Metallica Vibe in his chord progression, and the metal Zone distortion and strumming pattern is so spot on for Metallica. Voice singing method also damn spot on , and over all this yet you can hear the signature Sweet child solo over this.
Sounds great, but in this case, I personally would make the case that this is "in the style of" Metallica, not quite what it would sound like if they wrote it. I feel like with these lyrics, Metallica would have made it a ballad, like "Nothing Else Matters"
One small change...turn the volume up for the lead guitar throughout the song. Most Metallica songs you can hear Kirk's part very clear, but it seemed muted a bit here. Otherwise, awesome job and still 20 times better than GNR could do it. Especially now that Axl Rose sounds like the old perv from Family Guy now
Huge thanks! The mp3 is available on my Patreon, but I can also upload the Flac file there as well. It will also be available on streaming services soon. 🤘🏻
That was incredible, but it sounded more like Testament to me than Metallica. Like I can imagine an alternate universe where this is a bonus track on the Japanese pressing of The Ritual. Amazing job.
The more I hear these kinds of renditions, the more it becomes apparent that the song is not the melody or lyrics but the "sound" of the band, which is unique.
Ooouugh, ye-heaaah! How do you like this one?

Perfect, dude!
Hey man. Serious question. What do you tune your guitar to for the Alice in Chains videos? I would love to add it to my songs!!
🤘🖤🖤🖤
I got one for you Denis do nirvana smells like teen spirit but in the style of slipknot

The irony, considering James hates Axel Rose. Well done!!
Everyone hates Axel
Hated*
James never said that he hated anybody. They were rivals in the early 90s because Axel was a dick and still is but, they’re fine now
He doesn't hate axl anymore
No one hates anyone anymore. Everyone has taken too many drugs to remember why they hated them.
The Hammett wah solo was perfect
Yeah, it was pretty good. Slash uses wah at least as much as Kirk, but never gets slammed for it.

The drums going half time into the chorus is GOLD!!! YES!!!
I was struggling with that transition from the verse to chorus and finally I've thought of 'Cure', which inspired me to make this arrangement. I appreciate your support, thanks!
Even better at 1.25 speed.
Dude, that goes hard as f*ck.
or 1.5 😎
yes, 1.25 speed is perfect MetallicA black album.
Perfection!
110% agree at 1.25! Great song!
The Metallica Tone is spot on.
I agree, except for the solo. It had an underwater tone, where Metallica's sound is more electrified.
I was just thinking that too.
This one is close, but it really needed more Hetfield "yeah-yeeaahs" in it.
Ooo ooo yeah yeeeah 🤘🤘
Cliff is back :)
This 100x!
...which is weird, as this sounds very _Justice - Black Album._
How do you manage to knock it out of the park every time?
Absurdly high talent
Not only every single time, but seemingly he releases one of these every other day. The man is prolific!
FINALLY! The intro is actually good!
Sounds sick.
Vocals from Black, Guitar from Justice, Base from Master.
Not really. Bass is weak. It fits Metallica's tone perfectly though. Bass barely audible.
The darker(deeper) core of this makes the song so much different and yet keeps the power of it. This i so impressive thanks,

🤘🏼👏🏼🤘🏼
Freaking Brilliant. Denis, you always nail the sound and feel of the original artists.. Wow what a talent... \m/
Finally got around to listening to the full song, and that solo is beautiful! Love the end part too, kind of had a Leper Messiah esque chug to it. 🤘
I could imagine this on Lightning.
Nicely done.👍🏾
It's sounds more AJFA to me.
Bruh this is nothing like Ride 😂
"If Slayer did Polka." Get on it!

😂😂😂
Looking forward to that
Acid Drinkers - Seasons in the abyss
It reminds me of a slowed down version of hanger 18 of megadeth the first minute.
Dude, you even got that weird bass drum sound that Lars has. Sick!!!
Great, has a note of Typ o negative. Would be worth a try ;)
Fuck Yeah! You're killing it sir! Great 'if'version!!!
This is Epic, great job
That was rippin' !!! Don't know how ya do it but keep on doing it. Lol you saved the "F" bomb till the very end 😂
bro you are gonna blow up this is amazing craftsmanship
This is SICK!!!!! Gonna play it on my next Xan's World radio show. Totally not the first time I have featured your tracks, but man you're really shining now. Fvkk'n AWESOME! :)
Love your inventive imagination coupled with amazing talent and delivery
You look like Cliff when you play the Bass!
Sounds like Metallica. Perfect!
This is absolutely perfect in every way! Great job!
Wow! Your work is impressive!
And great voice too.
Best thing I've heard these times!
MATE!!! LOVED IT! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Just needs more of James' iconic 'YEAH's
Bravo Denis ! Super cover, meilleure version que la chanson originale des guns !!
😂😂😂 I assume you are joking?
Excellent work.
Fukn SIK as always, brother! Great job!😎

Excellent, bro. Greetings from UA.
Your ideas always inspire me! Awesome!
I think this is the best one I've seen yet. Keep going!! 😂
That would have fit great on the black album!! Amazing job !! 😊😊
Beautiful job!! ❤
Metallica and Gn'R were two of my favorite bands growing up (still like them both), so this was great. It makes me wonder: can you sing like Axel Rose?
I rattled the windows on that one. So many are like that, though. 😂 🤘🏻
I like the intro and chorus WAY more than the original! I mean overall, the original is not bad, but... This is just better 😃 Great job 💯🤘🏻
No. It isn’t. It’s really nice done. But the Guitar and the Vocals from the original are much more energetic.
You have got to be kidding.
@@joergn.1800 It is for me, you have your opinion and I don't really care about it, nor am I about to argue about it 😌
This is one of your best! Love it! 🤘🔥
This is very well done👏🏻
Wow.. Creative.. Bro 🎉
That was awesome dude!
God dam! Idk how you do it man...just fantastic
Dude, great job. This rocks!
Outstanding ear you have. You GET a band(s) then can recreate it. Awesome.

Amazing!

AMAZING! Subbed!!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤❤

Absolut fantastic 🤘🤘

...ing Genius.
Great as always
This was surprisingly awesome.
These guys are so good. They nail it every time.
Yea ,"they",R😂😂😂
So realistic on every instrument and vocals !👍
This has been my all-day song for the last 10 weeks haha
One of the most believable parts of this is the long intro! 🤣🤣
Metallica rules!
Thanks for this great interpretation! Only version of Sweet Child I ll listen to from now on.
Awesome brother!!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Good job!!
Sounds great, but in this case, I personally would make the case that this is "in the style of" Metallica, not quite what it would sound like if they wrote it. I feel like with these lyrics, Metallica would have made it a ballad, like "Nothing Else Matters"
Or like One... By "where do we go now" its triple triplets on the bass drums?
One small change...turn the volume up for the lead guitar throughout the song. Most Metallica songs you can hear Kirk's part very clear, but it seemed muted a bit here. Amazing job.
Where can I buy this in Flac? It reminds me of early Metallica 🔥
Huge thanks! The mp3 is available on my Patreon, but I can also upload the Flac file there as well. It will also be available on streaming services soon. 🤘🏻
Thanks for your music. It is awsome.
was hoping for like a garage inc style cover but this is neat too
I could imagine this coming on right after blackened
You're pure genius👌✌️🖤
Ficou perfeita demais essa versão 👏👏👏
That was incredible, but it sounded more like Testament to me than Metallica. Like I can imagine an alternate universe where this is a bonus track on the Japanese pressing of The Ritual. Amazing job.
This is a home run! ❤❤❤
Cool 🎸😎🤘
Not Metallica, but sooo good! Well done.
Sweet YEAH of Mine!
Really well done 🤘🏻🤨
Better than the original song! Really felt something like Alice in chains in this song as the type o negativ's heart shaped box version ! ❤❤
You cannot go wrong with the phrygian minor scale. Hoping to hear more songs re-imagined using phrygian mode.
This is amazing
Directly from the Metallica(Black) Album😂
Great Song!
Perfect 🤘
🙏🖤🤘 Thank you great sir! AMAZING!!!
Very cool. The vocals are a cross between Lemmy and Dave Mustaine.
This was awsome!!!
The more I hear these kinds of renditions, the more it becomes apparent that the song is not the melody or lyrics but the "sound" of the band, which is unique.
Always good; sometimes near perfect...this is one of those times.
I love the song..but 'tallicA is my fav bad of all time! this was excellent!
Ok, now "Enter Sandman" by Guns n' Roses.
Until you started to sing like James, It looked more like Megadeth than Metallica (to me at least), but very good job Denis!
