Du Toit's Peak Cave

With winter taking longer than usual to arrive, we set off with our bags filled with water to camp just below the summit of one of Cape Towns most prominent peaks.
We found the cave last year while hiking Du toits in the snow for the day and simply had to come and enjoy the views from the cave.
Please note, one must organise with the Mountain club of SA or the private land owners to access the property.

Dit is ja. Nee ons het nie n GPX nie. Mens kan die Pinnacle Roete volg en dan daar bo die grot soek.

Thanks for the message. You have to arrange access with MCSA Cape Town section to get permission to enter via the property. The pinnacle route is clear and easy to follow. No GPS track necessary. But it does help to know where to start and a couple of key points.
