Dude, thank you so much for making this video! I've been replay Banjo Kazooie for the first time in probably 12 years via Nintendo Switch Online. I was going crazy trying to find one last piece I missed and decided to exit the level and start over while following your guide. Worked like a charm!
Thank you so much! I’m trying to 100% this title on Xbox One and with all the annoying sub areas in this level getting all the notes here is especially tricky. Thanks again!!
What is the secret door for? I've picked the game back up after 20 years or so lol I just finished that level and couldn't figure out what it was... great content btw
Hey thank you for the compliment! The secret door in Gobi's Valley, as well as Sharkfood Island and a few others throughout the game were a cancelled feature that players were going to be able to use after the release of Banjo Tooie. Basically, the way it was going to work was you were going to receive a cheat code in Banjo Tooie that you would go *back* to Banjo Kazooie to use. You would type in the password in Banjo Kazooie, open a secret area, grab a never before seen item, and then switch back to Banjo Tooie where you would actually use it. The feature was cancelled (I believe by Nintendo) because of some technical limitations of the idea, but since the idea was scrapped *after* the release of Banjo Kazooie, you can still collect those items since the foundation of the idea was already put in place by then - they just don't do anything in Banjo Kazooie. The whole thing is something that I find really interesting and I suggest anyone who's interested in scrapped video game content to check out some dedicated videos on the topic. "Stop 'n' Swop" is what it was officially going to be called. Check it out if it sounds like a rabbit hole you'd like to go down. Edit: clarification

@@HaskieGaming that's interesting. Thanks for answering! You're awesome my dude!!
I feel so stupid for not noticing those few notes hidden just outside of view in the temple you can only access via beak bomb.
I’m pissed at you.
:o uh oh why?
Ohhhhh, I already die a Pyramid and forgot I had to still get the notes! Thanks so much! 🤎
