    I bought this receiver couple of days before and so far I am very happy with it! In past I was using Yamaha RX-V377 and I would say there is a huge difference in terms of sound DENON has done a good job here and with 4K & HDR with BT-2020 and HDCP 2.2 I would say WOW I have a complete package, I am just curious how Atmos will as I don't have extra speakers to mount overhead but soon I will be buying :)
    Overall I am a happy customer of DENON so far :)

    Am slightly confused...Your heading to this video states that it’s Denon AVR X1400 review, but the receiver itself appears to be the Denon AVR X1400 H. Which is it, particularly as it relates to your Q&A with Dhileesh re: Heos enabled speakers vs Heos enabled receiver? Thanks!

      Hi T Taylor. This is the AVRX1400H model which is equipped with Heos. Sorry for the confusion. I'll be changing the title of the video to reflect the exact model number as well. Thanks for watching! -Carl

    my X1400H doesn't have Left-Right Zone 2 Pre out connector... weird

    • @dnd6379
      @dnd6379 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was weirded out as well because they are the same named receivers for example now it is x1500h but one will have "in command" written on the front bottom right corner of the receiver and golden letters on the front of the interface while the other x1500h doesn't have that written infront. The one that doesn't have "in command" has no zone 2 and no audio in cbl/sat coaxil and it has no remote IR IN from what I have spotted otherwise it has everything the same but the prices seem to be different by quite a bit in the US and EU (US has it at msrp while EU has it cheaper by a good 100 to 200 bucks). The one that has zone 2 and has "in command" on the front and no remote ir in is I think for US only. On amazon.de there is no "in command" series of denon receivers. Also the power required is different as well as the "in command" takes 120V 60hz and non "in command" line (I assume there rest is the european version) has 230V 50/60hz, the max wattage is the same at 430.

    Hi I am using the denon receiver 1400h I have them hooked up to Paradigm speakers and subwoofer. The speakers sound fine but the subwoofoofer is crackling certain times during playback of a movie DVD or bluray. I am not playing the tv through the receiver. Do you have to play the tv through the receiver?

    • @abtelectronics
      @abtelectronics  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Darlene. No, you shouldn't have to run your TV through your receiver, but sometimes it makes it easier to organize all your components if they're all running through the same source. As for the crackling sound, it can be caused by a number of different things so it can be difficult to diagnose. If you purchased it from Abt please give us a call and one of our technicians can try to help over the phone. Thanks for watching! -Carl

    Do we need a heos enabled receiver to be able to use HEOS speakers in multiple rooms? If not, what does it add? Does the receiver do any amplification job on the wireless speakers? Sorry for my ignorance. I own the x1300w an would like to know if it is worth upgrading.

    • @abtelectronics
      @abtelectronics  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Dhileesh. No, you wouldn't need a HEOS enabled receiver for the system to work. It will work as long as you have a HEOS enabled speaker, a good wi-fi signal, and the app downloaded onto one of your smart devices. Having a HEOS enabled receiver allows you to use non-HEOS speakers, hooked up to that receiver, with the HEOS app. Thanks for watching! -Carl

      You can use any 4 to 16 Ohm speakers with this receiver. It offers about 75 watts per channel so just use any speaker that works well on those specs.

      Pairing with your Android phone to this receiver is simple. You must press the bluetooth button on the remote control of 1400H receiver, until it will enter into pairing mode.
