Same! Thankfully I see a lot of people jumping on the same bandwagon as I thought, and just saw a clip of Dafran saying the queue times are much longer now. The game had at most 1-2min queue times and he was already at almost 10 which means there's far less players playing. The game won't die because there's always new players trying out and they don't feel betrayed by blizzard because they never played Overwatch for long enough to care

I was in a comp game and convinced 6 other players to leave. 10+ minute queues and now the memes of “Blank sent you a message, press Alt+F4 to view. 1/10 players always hit it and cause a requeue for all the others. It killed comp in less than 3 days. Go check the queue times and see how many queues it takes to finish a match with a full team.
I'm convinced that in the time between the cancelation of PvE and the launch of OW2, they could've just halted development on OW2 and return to developing OW1 and would've most likely gotten out more quality content than they have with OW2 so far.

Considering they took out the progression system and replaced it with the battle pass (also building the whole game around it) I would say it actually is one of the games biggest problems

I don't mind the battle pass its all the other micro bs that I dislike , like they have all these skins that go with the battle pass but you have to pay 10 , 20 , 15 , 15 ,15 ,15,15$ I think is what we are currently at in this battle pass , we have 1 skin you can get if u get the special battlepass thing then 1 more for the super 30$ one then we have had 2 or 3 sets of 2 skins that match but are only in the shop. If they added all those but 2 to the battle pass and or gave more credits for playing and such , I mean if I could earn more creds without having to wait for a new BP or just add more credit and more levels to the battle pass since they don't last to long and if yours is spent you get nothing for playing , I think you should be able to earn at least 100 a day minimum really like 250 , so you could play and grind for 10 days and get a skin or something
it's really not as bad as people are making it out to be. yea it's scummy that blizzard isn't fulfilling their promises, but the game is still really fun as is and is still gonna get updates. if you're on the fence about getting into it i would definitely recommend, if not then suit yourself.
Because it is a scam. We were told we don’t need to buy Overwatch 2 in the first place. We just won’t have access to all the features but can still all play together. Then we were all forced on to it. All the skins we got were free and now they are over $20 each. A game where your counter pick is locked because you don’t own a hero. Sorry boys we can’t win, I don’t own that hero. We were sold pve experience and pvp was just going to lock Overwatch 1 from ranked games was all. Now pve is removed and everyone’s forced into 2’s pvp experience, that leaves literally no reason for two to exist and let alone with a price tag that people payed for. It’s a straight up scam and should warrant a law suit.

I have seven accounts two diamond borders. I have played this game for multiple MONTHS of my life. Seen every rank in some way at some point. I felt really really shit on when they killed ow1 so I made the choice not to install it until the PVE shows up. Glad I never did. Rest in peace.

I think reason why he left is exact same as everyone in blizzard, its not that they cant pull it off, they too much expirance and jeff was story campain maker, problem was work enviament and Activision greedeness. So SAD I've been playing OW since day 1 with over 2500 hours. I love the game and believed in a bright future and always stayed hopeful and positive. Today is the DAY I give up ! The Blizz team is a mess the quality has been awful ( Heroes not ready at launch, Broken updates, Crazy Bugs and much more). OW2 does not have the magic OW1 had (Lootboxes, Player progression, On fire and much more) and now no PvE... After 6 years of OW I'm going to try to break free and find another go to game. Yeah, hearing these news about pve I went ahead and uninstalled the game. Haven't done that before since I started playing in 2017, it always had a dedicated space on my PC. Even through recent years when I played it a lot less. Wasn't even all that hyped about pve, I knew I would've likely only played it a bit and then focused on pvp again, but this move just feels like such a betrayal to the playerbase that I just don't want to go back now. There are enough other good games to play.

It’s crazy how companies actually tried their best to perfect their games back then. Now, The more they figure out how much easier they can make money by switching up how they work, makes them work less on the actual game and the more their techniques evolve, the more the game quality decreases. What blizzard has done to overwatch is a good example of what happens when a company tries to go further up that same overused route.
Just dont buy anything. You can play the game and hace them make nothing off it. Personally game isnt fun because they made mm worse than s3 somehow. So im gone soon when I find a new game to play

@@Tatercon You don't seem to understand. The game was dying and they made the jump to OW2 in order to revive it with a new monetization scheme. Continuing to play the game helps keep it alive. Just playing and "not buying anything" isn't going to punish Blizzard the same way as everyone quitting at once will.

You can play a game and not support the company at the same time. If anything it will make them try to keep the game alive while it loses money. However it is a vocal minority quiting the game over pve. Id bet more people have quit because of mm then the amount that leave over pve. Game dies when content creators all leave and many are not going to yet.

PVE was the last resort I had left of this game. Feels like I wasted all this time for nothing. The PVE we will get is not going to be the same as what was promised. And it wont be permanent, itll be seasonal for like two weeks at a time or so. Time to truly move on 😔

problem with not wanting the game to die again is that they wont learn if it doesnt, i dont want it to die myself but i really want it to die just so they see how royally the fucked up
if the massive negative feedback wave doesn't make them reconsider then no other realistic options exist. getting a playerbase that large to boycott for reasons that proportionally very few actually care about is a tall order.
I've played Overwatch on and off since 2016. I loved the concept of the game but I'm really not into pvp. So I held out for years waiting and hoping that they would "finish" the game. So I've played for 30 something seasons to be hit with yesterday's news. I have no desire to really play anymore. I don't want a drip fed story. I wanted a fully fleshed out mode for my friends from other games to try it out with me. Unfortunately, it was all a lie like the cake I was promised from Glados.
Papi Jeff Kaplan knew, that's why he left 2 years AFTER the announcement that the PvE campaign is coming for Overwatch 2. But instead, we got Overwatch 2: Battle Pass Edition. Thanks Bobby, you trully greased the cogs.
If only Overwatch had a competitor. But as it stands, no other FPS multiplayer game offers an even remotely similar experience. What other multiplayer game would I move to? I don't like CS:GO or BR games so there's nothing else to choose from whenever I get an itch to play multiplayer.

I HATE the concept of a battle pass. I don't want to have to log in each day to do a list of chores so that I won't lose the things I already paid for. The reason I quit playing World of Warcraft was because it was wasting my time, and I felt like I had to log in each day to do the digital equivalent of the dishes. I'm sick of it all. One of the things I liked most about Overwatch was I could boot it up whenever I want, and play for as little or as much as I want, doing whatever content I decide I want to do. Complete freedom and it worked with my schedule. All of that is dead now, and I want entertainment, not a second job.
The timing around PVE getting canceled and Window's contested/failed acquisition of Blizzard in the UK seem kinda following the same path. Blizzards stocks fell as a result of the UK stating that Window's would have a monopoly of the cloud gaming market. The European Union has accepted the merger and is being contested with the UK, only time will tell what may come. All I am saying is, first it was the layoff of employees cause they wanted them to come back to the office(even though their contracts hadn't required for them to return to office) so they lost developers in that, two their stocks went down after they were contested for the Window's merger, and three they cant get new hires due to their past toxic work environment. I can honestly see why they have a problem and I wish this can turn around. I been playing since the release of OW in 2016 and its something that I solely hold dear.
Often times companies will enforce rules that will make people quit so they don’t have to go through the woes of firing them. If they were attempting to be bought out, thinning out your work force some will make the business easier to absorb, and it reduces their expenses on paper due to the fewer employee salaries they’re paying. So companies will intentionally run employees off just so they can look more appealing and be bought out.
@@Okenpo I mean sure, but this was after the release of WOW Dragonflight. Many consider this better what they have been dishing out for a while. Why break something if it works, the consumer likes it, and you're profiting more from sales. Besides it would look better on their record and it would retain good reputation with their consumer base.
You are not the only one. Since launch I've been telling friends my concerns about the whole ow2 marketing campaign and ive been met with cynicism and doubt. Almost given the treatment that I was losing it a bit. Meanwhile im watching people fall hook line and sinker for nothing more than a marketing strategy and a shop addition. The more time passes the more clear it becomes. Seasonal events? Now just an excuse to charge for the skins we would have had for free in ow. New hero? Excuse to charge , new game mode? Excuse to charge for skins again. The amount of excuses people made up to justify this shit from blizzard. We've all been played, i wish more people realized that before this ball dropped.

It's funny, actually. All of this. I originally started playing Overwatch because TF2 was no longer getting supported, and found that it was like TF2, but was actually getting updated. But ever since OW2, there's no competitive system, no casual system, no ON Fire, no After Game Review, and LESS MAPS! It's incredible that after all this time, we actually have LESS then we did before! At least TF2 still has all of it's maps and items before it got abandoned, Overwatch got gutted, then was left on the street!

@@gwit4051 I’m saying that the people working on Overwatch are continuing making the game WORSE. TF2 may not be getting updated, but at least it’s not LOSING content. That’s what I mean by gutted. Because without pve, OW2 is a downgraded cashgrab. And it’s not gonna be the same, before you say that it’s still pve. It’s gonna have a campaign, sure, and occasional mission like Archives, but certainly not a pve experience. A whole leveling system and hero mastery systems were scrapped. Overwatch is such a hilariously poorly handled game that I’m surprised that anyone can defend it anymore. And I’m not blaming the devs, at least not entirely. The higher ups are so demanding it’s ridiculous. Blizzard is one of the worst companies to have faith in right now. So yeah, that’s what I mean by “gutted.”

I’m just mad that ever since Overwatch became overwatch2, the content I was personally looking forward and justifying overwatch’s shift to Overwatch 2 for 4 years was cancelled. Now, it just looks like there’s an updated shop and one less member in a fight. TF2 was left to rot, but it was at least untouched. Overwatch’s continuous updates seem to be actively getting the community than helping. The results speak for themselves since everyone is against blizzard on this one
I stop playing games because most game gets changed a lot and sometimes a change make me feel less interested in that game so i stop playing it. I started playing overwatch 1 near the end so i didn't get the best experience. The overwatch 2 changes are just overwatch 1 but worse now pve is gone. There's just no reason to play it anymore. You literally get the same thing when losing or winning, which makes absolutely no sense on how you're not even rewarded for winning.
I only played Overwatch for the upcoming pve and in hopes of finding a mommy mercy gf and both of those dreams are being dashed away right before my eyes
Its funny because I never got bored of OW1 but I cant play more than 2 matches in OW2 before I have to close the game. Unless my first map is a push map then I alt+F4

If we could've stayed as OW1 and keep getting regular updates I would've been perfectly happy, but now the game is collapsing from its own weight. I'm just glad I moved on before I could experience this, as I never even updated to OW2.

Reminder. Overwatch was born from a failed pve mmo blizzard was working on called “project Titan.” They basically gave up on making a PVE overwatch game twice now

I wouldn’t put too much blame on the devs. All of the things regarding predatory shop decisions and resource allocation for the teams sound very much like top down decisions. It’s so sad to see :( And They could’ve at the very least only kept loot boxes for ow1 content and release a whole selection of premium skins at launch and have other new content excluded from the box pool.

This whole thing reeks like an exec coming in, seeing that it couldn’t be monitized for a decade and scrapped it. There is not reason they would put this much effort in to not launch it. I feel bad for the devs, but this is activisions M.O. they do this with COD as well. It all about minimal effort for max monitizarion.
Blizzard knew they couldnt trust in Overwatch being a success on launch, because they did everything they could to kill Battleborn, a game that already had everything O2 was suppoused to have People say Battleborn did a stupid launching so close to Overwatch's release.....but the thing is that they locked the March/2016 date in November/2015. Overwatch locked the release to May/2016 in January/2016, they also did the Play Test during the week in which Battleborn released, they also held freebies and double experience whenever Battleborn had a new patch for content. Critics called Battleborn an "Overwatch Clone" and Overwatch had nowhere the amount of content Battleborn had. O2 would have been a shittier version of Battleborn and Blizzard axed it. And it wouldn't surprise me if Blizzard paid critics to clown on it in Metacritic and other game review sites so people went to play their PVP only game. Battleborn had PVE, 3 PVP modes and a roster larger than overwatch's on release, the Helix system, each personalized to each Battleborn character, was also hard backed in the pvp, being the gimmick of the game and being a mix and match of different perks, O2 only had very small talent trees, that you had to lock into so there would be no mix and match, and would only be usable in PVE
The remarks at the end with how all the ow2 content creators having to figure out something else soon or become financially at risk really just hit me as something I didn't quite think about I don't think many of the OW2 creators have had it lucrative enough to the point that they have a huge safety net aside from maybe a handful of them. Same as an employee who's business just goes under, you couldn't have done shit about it but you're taking the worst of it.
Just feel like pointing this out. PVP is a joke to make. Really all you need to worry about is net coding and making a few maps. One could argue balance is important but ehh you wont actual know a map is balance or not until its been played thoroughly. And maps can always be updated. So this idea that they can't just throw a bunch of random maps together and be done with it. IS stupid, no this is pure greed. As they know single player games tend to not make good use of the cash shop. Side note, this was confirmed by Blizzard employees. This was not a sign that they couldn't deliver on this. No this was purely a 100% upper management decision. Because they saw how much money they were raking in with Deiablo Immortal. And they wanted to try to copy this success with Overwatch. This has nothing to do with being over ambitious.
I feel cheated after paying for preorder. I'm boycotting Blizzard. I'm 43 and have played Blizzard games since 1996. I've even attended Blizzcon in the past, but now I'm done.

OVW 1 was my favourite video game for the longest time. I havent touched it in 2 months even though i have one of the most polished accounts with hundreds of hours even managed to touch top 500 in the third year of the game. Some times I think half of why they scrapped the PVE. Is because they were afraid that the state PVP is in. A good chunk of who's left, would abandon it. If the PVE was a persistent thing. Why play some crap unbalanced comp match. When you can sit down with 5 friends and blow up bots. All the things that would keep people playing PVE. Talents, always available, hero leveling, are the things magically gone. While with the failed version of PVE they're doing. It gets removed every season. It's only probably gonna be 2 or 3 missions. Plus, no leveling. Bored very quickly = go back to PVP. Yay we still have people playing.
I am just gonna install Fortnite again and wait 10 Weeks until someone recreated OW PVE in Creative Mode or some shit like that. Or i am just trying to program OW PVE by myself, after creating the project i already have more progress than a whole company have after 4 Years work
Paladins fills the gap for me. Heroes actually all have a ton of depth and it doesn't force me to pick a hero I don't like because the other team has a certain hero. After playing paladins you realize how dull overwatch hero design and rock paper scissors encounters are.
I am done with OW2, I am not spending a penny more on this game. Been playing since 2016, the game doesn't feel exciting anymore and so many features have been removed for no reason.
Overwatch 1 was fine as it was, literally could of just added new heroes and everyone would of been thrilled. Instead, we got this. A literal heap of garbage. When im getting myself into a massive loss streak, itd be so nice if I had PvE to swap to that isnt some janky custom game. Some coop action to blow off steam in a non competitive gamemode. I hope the blowback they get from players unwilling to continue playing now will inspire the executives to fund the developers more or allot more time to their development schedule.

I was in a comp game and convinced 6 other players to leave. 10+ minute queues and now the memes of “Blank sent you a message, press Alt+F4 to view. 1/10 players always hit it and cause a requeue for all the others. It killed comp in less than 3 days. Go check the queue times and see how many queues it takes to finish a match with a full team.
I'm convinced that in the time between the cancelation of PvE and the launch of OW2, they could've just halted development on OW2 and return to developing OW1 and would've most likely gotten out more quality content than they have with OW2 so far.

Considering they took out the progression system and replaced it with the battle pass (also building the whole game around it) I would say it actually is one of the games biggest problems

I don't mind the battle pass its all the other micro bs that I dislike , like they have all these skins that go with the battle pass but you have to pay 10 , 20 , 15 , 15 ,15 ,15,15$ I think is what we are currently at in this battle pass , we have 1 skin you can get if u get the special battlepass thing then 1 more for the super 30$ one then we have had 2 or 3 sets of 2 skins that match but are only in the shop.
If they added all those but 2 to the battle pass and or gave more credits for playing and such , I mean if I could earn more creds without having to wait for a new BP or just add more credit and more levels to the battle pass since they don't last to long and if yours is spent you get nothing for playing , I think you should be able to earn at least 100 a day minimum really like 250 , so you could play and grind for 10 days and get a skin or something

Because it is a scam. We were told we don’t need to buy Overwatch 2 in the first place. We just won’t have access to all the features but can still all play together. Then we were all forced on to it. All the skins we got were free and now they are over $20 each. A game where your counter pick is locked because you don’t own a hero. Sorry boys we can’t win, I don’t own that hero. We were sold pve experience and pvp was just going to lock Overwatch 1 from ranked games was all. Now pve is removed and everyone’s forced into 2’s pvp experience, that leaves literally no reason for two to exist and let alone with a price tag that people payed for. It’s a straight up scam and should warrant a law suit.

So SAD I've been playing OW since day 1 with over 2500 hours. I love the game and believed in a bright future and always stayed hopeful and positive. Today is the DAY I give up ! The Blizz team is a mess the quality has been awful ( Heroes not ready at launch, Broken updates, Crazy Bugs and much more). OW2 does not have the magic OW1 had (Lootboxes, Player progression, On fire and much more) and now no PvE... After 6 years of OW I'm going to try to break free and find another go to game.

Yeah, hearing these news about pve I went ahead and uninstalled the game. Haven't done that before since I started playing in 2017, it always had a dedicated space on my PC. Even through recent years when I played it a lot less. Wasn't even all that hyped about pve, I knew I would've likely only played it a bit and then focused on pvp again, but this move just feels like such a betrayal to the playerbase that I just don't want to go back now. There are enough other good games to play.
This video really highlights the real problem. The audience that just won't stop giving Blizzard money no matter how much they get fucked. Keep on enabling dude!

It’s crazy how companies actually tried their best to perfect their games back then. Now, The more they figure out how much easier they can make money by switching up how they work, makes them work less on the actual game and the more their techniques evolve, the more the game quality decreases. What blizzard has done to overwatch is a good example of what happens when a company tries to go further up that same overused route.

I've played Overwatch on and off since 2016. I loved the concept of the game but I'm really not into pvp. So I held out for years waiting and hoping that they would "finish" the game.
So I've played for 30 something seasons to be hit with yesterday's news. I have no desire to really play anymore. I don't want a drip fed story. I wanted a fully fleshed out mode for my friends from other games to try it out with me.
Unfortunately, it was all a lie like the cake I was promised from Glados.
Papi Jeff Kaplan knew, that's why he left 2 years AFTER the announcement that the PvE campaign is coming for Overwatch 2. But instead, we got Overwatch 2: Battle Pass Edition. Thanks Bobby, you trully greased the cogs.

I HATE the concept of a battle pass. I don't want to have to log in each day to do a list of chores so that I won't lose the things I already paid for. The reason I quit playing World of Warcraft was because it was wasting my time, and I felt like I had to log in each day to do the digital equivalent of the dishes. I'm sick of it all. One of the things I liked most about Overwatch was I could boot it up whenever I want, and play for as little or as much as I want, doing whatever content I decide I want to do. Complete freedom and it worked with my schedule. All of that is dead now, and I want entertainment, not a second job.
They should face legal action for false advertising and the fact that they effectively repossessed a product and forced payment to continue using it
The timing around PVE getting canceled and Window's contested/failed acquisition of Blizzard in the UK seem kinda following the same path. Blizzards stocks fell as a result of the UK stating that Window's would have a monopoly of the cloud gaming market. The European Union has accepted the merger and is being contested with the UK, only time will tell what may come. All I am saying is, first it was the layoff of employees cause they wanted them to come back to the office(even though their contracts hadn't required for them to return to office) so they lost developers in that, two their stocks went down after they were contested for the Window's merger, and three they cant get new hires due to their past toxic work environment. I can honestly see why they have a problem and I wish this can turn around. I been playing since the release of OW in 2016 and its something that I solely hold dear.
Often times companies will enforce rules that will make people quit so they don’t have to go through the woes of firing them. If they were attempting to be bought out, thinning out your work force some will make the business easier to absorb, and it reduces their expenses on paper due to the fewer employee salaries they’re paying. So companies will intentionally run employees off just so they can look more appealing and be bought out.

Why break something if it works, the consumer likes it, and you're profiting more from sales. Almost given the treatment that I was losing it a bit. Meanwhile im watching people fall hook line and sinker for nothing more than a marketing strategy and a shop addition. The more time passes the more clear it becomes. Seasonal events? Now just an excuse to charge for the skins we would have had for free in ow. New hero? Excuse to charge , new game mode? Excuse to charge for skins again. The amount of excuses people made up to justify this shit from blizzard. We've all been played, i wish more people realized that before this ball dropped.

It's funny, actually. All of this. I originally started playing Overwatch because TF2 was no longer getting supported, and found that it was like TF2, but was actually getting updated. But ever since OW2, there's no competitive system, no casual system, no ON Fire, no After Game Review, and LESS MAPS! It's incredible that after all this time, we actually have LESS then we did before! At least TF2 still has all of it's maps and items before it got abandoned, Overwatch got gutted, then was left on the street!

It’s gonna have a campaign, sure, and occasional mission like Archives, but certainly not a pve experience. A whole leveling system and hero mastery systems were scrapped. I’m just mad that ever since Overwatch became overwatch2, the content I was personally looking forward and justifying overwatch’s shift to Overwatch 2 for 4 years was cancelled. Now, it just looks like there’s an updated shop and one less member in a fight. TF2 was left to rot, but it was at least untouched. Overwatch’s continuous updates seem to be actively getting the community than helping. The results speak for themselves since everyone is against blizzard on this one
I stop playing games because most game gets changed a lot and sometimes a change make me feel less interested in that game so i stop playing it. I started playing overwatch 1 near the end so i didn't get the best experience. The overwatch 2 changes are just overwatch 1 but worse now pve is gone. There's just no reason to play it anymore. You literally get the same thing when losing or winning, which makes absolutely no sense on how you're not even rewarded for winning.

For each fight you lose, you have to win 2 in order to take the lead
Also its optimal to stop pushing halfway through to not get too close to the enemies spawn which isnt the way the devs intended it

This whole thing reeks like an exec coming in, seeing that it couldn’t be monitized for a decade and scrapped it. There is not reason they would put this much effort in to not launch it. Blizzard knew they couldnt trust in Overwatch being a success on launch, because they did everything they could to kill Battleborn, a game that already had everything O2 was suppoused to have
People say Battleborn did a stupid launching so close to Overwatch's release.....but the thing is that they locked the March/2016 date in November/2015. Overwatch locked the release to May/2016 in January/2016, they also did the Play Test during the week in which Battleborn released, they also held freebies and double experience whenever Battleborn had a new patch for content.
Critics called Battleborn an "Overwatch Clone" and Overwatch had nowhere the amount of content Battleborn had. O2 would have been a shittier version of Battleborn and Blizzard axed it. And it wouldn't surprise me if Blizzard paid critics to clown on it in Metacritic and other game review sites so people went to play their PVP only game.
Battleborn had PVE, 3 PVP modes and a roster larger than overwatch's on release, the Helix system, each personalized to each Battleborn character, was also hard backed in the pvp, being the gimmick of the game and being a mix and match of different perks, O2 only had very small talent trees, that you had to lock into so there would be no mix and match, and would only be usable in PVE
The remarks at the end with how all the ow2 content creators having to figure out something else soon or become financially at risk really just hit me as something I didn't quite think about
I don't think many of the OW2 creators have had it lucrative enough to the point that they have a huge safety net aside from maybe a handful of them.
Same as an employee who's business just goes under, you couldn't have done shit about it but you're taking the worst of it.
Just feel like pointing this out. PVP is a joke to make. Really all you need to worry about is net coding and making a few maps. One could argue balance is important but ehh you wont actual know a map is balance or not until its been played thoroughly. And maps can always be updated. So this idea that they can't just throw a bunch of random maps together and be done with it. IS stupid, no this is pure greed. As they know single player games tend to not make good use of the cash shop.
Side note, this was confirmed by Blizzard employees. This was not a sign that they couldn't deliver on this. No this was purely a 100% upper management decision. Because they saw how much money they were raking in with Deiablo Immortal. And they wanted to try to copy this success with Overwatch. This has nothing to do with being over ambitious.
I feel cheated after paying for preorder. I'm boycotting Blizzard. I'm 43 and have played Blizzard games since 1996. I've even attended Blizzcon in the past, but now I'm done.

OVW 1 was my favourite video game for the longest time. I havent touched it in 2 months even though i have one of the most polished accounts with hundreds of hours even managed to touch top 500 in the third year of the game. After this i dont think ill be going back. So sad to see this community slowly die, screw you blizzard!
...Gearbox need to take that opportunity and announce battleborn, cus Overwatch 2 is literally aiming for that already exist.

whenever I hear about the Overwatch PVE stuff I remember Battleborn launched with PVE content included, Blizzard really slipped up if their old contender still has them beat there
At this point it’s just depressing. Already uninstalled and it’s sad because it was the whole point of me even getting overwatch 2 but now the game is just a glorified patch
Overwatch 3, 4vs4, 1€ to swap hero, 5€ for priority q and 50€ week pass. Good game, horrible product.
Some times I think half of why they scrapped the PVE. Is because they were afraid that the state PVP is in. A good chunk of who's left, would abandon it. If the PVE was a persistent thing. Why play some crap unbalanced comp match. When you can sit down with 5 friends and blow up bots. All the things that would keep people playing PVE. Talents, always available, hero leveling, are the things magically gone. While with the failed version of PVE they're doing. It gets removed every season. It's only probably gonna be 2 or 3 missions. Plus, no leveling. Bored very quickly = go back to PVP. Yay we still have people playing.
why couldn't starwatch have the talent trees and the ability to level up and unlock broken OP abilities?!
I am just gonna install Fortnite again and wait 10 Weeks until someone recreated OW PVE in Creative Mode or some shit like that. Or i am just trying to program OW PVE by myself, after creating the project i already have more progress than a whole company have after 4 Years work

Paladins fills the gap for me. Heroes actually all have a ton of depth and it doesn't force me to pick a hero I don't like because the other team has a certain hero. After playing paladins you realize how dull overwatch hero design and rock paper scissors encounters are.

I am done with OW2, I am not spending a penny more on this game. Been playing since 2016, the game doesn't feel exciting anymore and so many features have been removed for no reason.
Just stick to valorant or apex legends it is a better overwatch

Overwatch 1 was fine as it was, literally could of just added new heroes and everyone would of been thrilled. Instead, we got this. A literal heap of garbage. I uninstalled it due to it taking up so much space but I never wanted to play it. So, good while it lasted but this sucks. I can’t believe it actually got worse
Yeah it's sad to see them treat the game like this and get cold feet I basically see this game becoming blizzards TF2 a game that is just stuck in eternity for being what it is and never to evolve into something that will capture the masses eyes except at least with TF2 you have Garry's mod that people make content out of who knows maybe blizzard might come out with something like Garry's mod for all their ips
Overwatch matches dont have soul anymore...the game just doesn't allow much creativity anymore.
Its such a downgrade from OW1, i hate playing tank now the whole game feels like its on my shoulders
When im getting myself into a massive loss streak, itd be so nice if I had PvE to swap to that isnt some janky custom game. Some coop action to blow off steam in a non competitive gamemode.
I hope the blowback they get from players unwilling to continue playing now will inspire the executives to fund the developers more or allot more time to their development schedule.
