I have seen a few versions of Tim doing this song. I remember hearing the original by "Sam The Sham & The Pharoahs". Tim has the perfect voice for this song. Amazing how high & then low he can go.
This is an classic oldies song. So cool listening to this. And Adam making the sound of a needle on a record...perfection as usual. This was at the patreon party when Chris was leaving so the drinks were flowing and the goofiness was running wild. Another part of the show was "Songs that Didn't Make the Cut" Too funny to not see!! You'd love it!
This song was a hit by Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs in 1966. Their first, biggest hit was Wooly Bully in '64. This version is fantastic. Even with the mind glitch.

Little Red Riding Hood came out in the 60s when I was in High School. I still have my 45 record of it😄
This song takes me back to my childhood in the 60's when it first came out. Do yourself a favor and listen to it by Sam the Sham and then listen to the Rolling Stones cover of it as well. Both very good versions. This was probably the 2nd song I heard Homefree do and I knew I loved them when I heard Tim sing it. Wish they would do a cover for Halloween some day. I bout died when you said you'd never heard this song! Of course, it came out when I was in high school in '66!!! lol. So you would not have been born I'm sure!! It was super popular and fun! Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs sang this one.Home Free nailed with Tim taking the bass lead! The original wasn't done that way, of course. Such fun to watch HF on stage! Love these guys so much.

There's another rendition of this song with just Tim, Chris Chatham, and Jenika Marion Foust headed as Brunch after Tim Foust's 40th Birthday Bash or (same show/different recorder) under the 3 singers names.
This was the night after Tim kissed Chris and shortly after Westboto Church picketed Home Free.

Too funny and too good. They were loosey goosey at a Patreon party I think..all the beer. Tim is so good. Going real low and also high…he’s remarkable. Funny as heck them forgetting the words..but Austin was right..it wasn’t just him, they all forgot. So much fun. Thanks for reacting to it. Good reaction. Yeah it’s an old song (60’s maybe?).
This song is so much fun even when it derails a bit. Yes they were having quite a party that night. The day before was Chris' last tour with Home Free and it was very heartfelt by the guys. (Tim Foust's Touching Tribute to Chris Rupp...that's where you find it on youtube) Only if you want.

They did forget the words and I don't know what made it funnier. The reaction of Adam Rupp losing it or Tim being so "whatever" about it. Both had me doubled over with laughter. This song really does show off Tim's range and all of them show their sense of humor. Keep on keeping on my friend.

Dad included this song (the original) on a CD he made for my niece who was a toddler at the time.

Checked it and it was a big hit in 1966, the year before I graduated high school. Check the original.

That was the only song that I think they didn't do better than the original the original was a 100 percent better. But everything else I love they are a great group.
