As a LSU grad & veteran of many crawfish boils, I must point out that yes, the mouth tastes the spice. But the next morning is when you can really judge the spice level. Cue up ‘Ring of Fire’.

I am a Yankee girl who was married to a Cajun boy. He worked on the rigs while I worked in Baton Rouge. When he was home we would visit his family in Southwest Louisiana. The crawfish, shrimp or crab boils depending on the season..of all the great memories was that of the crawfishh that managed to escape from the 50 pound sacks and made it back to the nearby bayou 😂....more made their escape as day turned into evening ....for various reasons...cover of darkness, Miller Highlife and moonshine.....what a gift those years were. Thank you Home Free for the great music and memories.
Oh this was fun to watch! I'm a Louisiana girl so this is my kinda day! We have crawfish boils for baby showers, wedding showers, company picnics, all kinds of occasions. My family are from Lake Charles, LA, right across the Sabine river from Orange, TX, so I spent a lot of time in that area growing up.
You not only hitting this southeast Texas boys stomach with the boil, but you are backing it up with some of my favorite Home Free songs 😂😊😅

My hubby is from VA, he lives a good crawfish boil. He calls them mudbugs. And lucky Cindy, you are free to go. Fast forward a week and someone is innocently using the bathroom facilities and up comes Cindy to say hey😂😂

I am a HOME FREE fan for just shy of a year .... been a Southerner for forty years .... never living anywhere else - for sure ! A long time ago when I was in the Navy I did my "mess cranking" duty (working in the kitchens to feed the crew) and every time the officers had live lobster I would see one of the cooks toss one out the port hole. I didn't realize they do that for crawfish too.
Had my first experience with a real crawfish boil a few years back when visiting family in Texas, it was awesome. I also got to see Home Free live last fall, 2 wonderful things that I hope to do again. You boys do it right!

Looks yummy! Not a crawfish fan but love the shrimp! Looks like they were seasoned just right. I’m from the Delmarva area and we love our crabs steamed with Old Bay. Steam some shrimp too and you have a feast!! Looked like all were enjoying it. Nice to be able to do something with family and friends!

I remember my Grandparents, Aunts and Uncle, and parents boiling crayfish for us every summer while o0n vacation at pelican Lake.
I found the baby in the King cake once. Looked like a blast with the boys. Wow, short sleeves in February huh? Not doing that in Feb in Colorado. Ha! 😍
Yall are so cool, I came to see you at Cma Fest and I haven't been happy for awhile but when I saw y'all come on the stage I felt joy because I enjoy y'all's remakes of songs and songs Tim has made over the past years, y'all have been such a inspiration to me
I have never had crawfish boil but I do shrimp boil occasionally! This looks amazing. Not sure just how to eat a crawfish.

When my mom was still around the whole family would get together for fish fry/shrimp boil cookouts. The younger family members just don't do those things anymore. Glad to see you guys having fun and bringing good memories back.

Wish I were there. Will be on the Mississippi Gulf Coast with my kids in May and will be eating me some crawfish.

My town has a homemade goods events once a month and blocks off all the streets downtown for vendors to set up booths and people to shop. I make soap, but two doors down from my booth is a bar and grill that does crawfish boils at every fair and dumps it all out on a big outdoor table. Everyone shopping at my soap booth always thought it was my soap that smelled like crawfish boil!! Looks like y'all are having a good time!

I haven't had the chance to try them yet, cuz I live in Michigan, but I KNOW crawfish really taste great. Troy Landry always cooks up a mess of them for the other alligator catchers, and they look delicious. That's why we eat bait. Bless.

Oh....Crawfish are so good. Sadly, here in Minnesota, you won't find enough of them to cook up. But Bullhead Fish Fry's? Oh we can definitely set you up. And anyone that knows Bullheads knows they have to be caught at the right time of year and fried up in just the right way. I am very picky about bullheads....lol

It's looking so good. I'm will attend to a Mardi Grass celebration in my Homeland, Denmark - the 9. of July: Crawfish will be on the menu - and I will taste it - for the first time. Nice.... We call it: Virgin lobster in my country. There will also be parades, Kings Cake, drinks and Jazz Music. Of course - the colours: Purple, yellow and Green will be overall.

I spent a bit of time down in Shreveport LA for work at one of the auto plants. OH MY OH MY! Crafish Festival WAS OFF THE FREAKING CHAIN! Yea buddy, some of us northerners know the good stuff for sure. Looked tasty!

When I was in the AF, I was stationed in Biloxi, MS for my tech training. I had the opportunity to try me some crawfish....but I couldnt bring myself to try them. Oh well. I mean I love seafood.. I dont know why I couldnt do it. 🤷 (I guess I should have had a few beers first 😂😂)

Yep! Louisiana brand seasoning is the best! This was a fun video! Being I’m a Louisianan, I want to know whether or not Adam eats crawfish. I saw that he was there, but didn’t see him eating. Inquiring minds are curious. lol Oddly enough, being a Home Fry in Louisiana, I don’t actually like boiled seafood, but I do like it fried and cooked other ways!

My veterinarian has a huge boil for his clients each spring. He has 2 pots going. One of the best things is whole heads of garlic with just the tips cut off. Soaks up all that spice and just gets mushy. Squeeze out the clove onto a slice of French bread. Yum! He has tried every vegetable imaginable. Even asparagus and sweet peas. Slices of pineapple turn out good, too. Mango was interesting. Wraps the catfish in cheesecloth to hold it together. Amazing little bundles of melt in your mouth catfish.
If crawfish taste anything like shrimp or lobster or yabbies which is another kind of shellfish (that live in the mud in Australia ) where I live then sounds like I would love a craw fish boil if I ever get to America.
I love shrimp but have never eaten crawfish. Maybe some day?
