There are new pathways which give dual and tripple CCTs with Intensive care medicine. Can you please make a video on that? Not able to find specific details
Excuse me Could i apply for ST 4 cardiology I’ve full mrcp , gmc registration 7 years experience in internal medicine in my home country I got alternate certificate signed from consultants in my country but they didn’t work in nhs or have mrcp Is it possible ?
I am a pursuing Dermatology PG 3rd year in india and have completed MRCP 1&2 written. Can i apply for MTI right now. And what would be the proper way. I dont mind doing internal medicine MTI in UK as i would get to sign my competencies etc for speciality training. Some guidance would be helpful
Hello Dr Shah, It's great to hear that you are flexible with postings. Please apply to RCP MTI, they have a fairly structured recruiting process, it would be slow though. Please sort english exams ASAP. Then u are good to go. Other way is to finish paces & then go for a speciality doctor post, better pay & Perks.
1. Can we apply for HST before the MTI ends, i.e. after 6 months to 1 year ? (For a 2 year program) 2. You mentioned we can get the competencies signed in our home country by our professors, but the core competency form states the signatory must have worked within the NHS in the last five years and have accurate knowledge of IMT1 curriculum and also another point stating a consultant in physicianly specialities / alternate specialities / MRCP / FRCP. So say a professor in my home country (India with MD and no UK experience or membership whatsoever) can sign it ?
Hello, 1. Yes u can, but whether u would be able to extend your visa while your stay in UK would be a difficult issue to comment upon. You should have about an year remaining to apply so everything is sorted well. 2. Many doctors I know have got their alternate certificate from India. You must have adequate workplace bases assessments during ur UK stay as well to support your application better.
@@UKDreamers what about the person who did alternative medicine i.e. homeopathy or ayurvedic but have 10+ years of experience in critical care set up? Can they enter into mainstream like this?

Hi.. very informative video especially for me, who’ll be joining a MTI post by mid 2022.. I have one query.. My spouse will be just completing her MD in India soon.. she is eligible for a dependent visa rite? If yes.. can you suggest the best possible way to go about getting a job for her in UK? She doesn’t want to have a work gap in her career.. Thanks
Hi, thank you for thr appreciation. 2 broad options for her - 1. Meet the eligibility criteria & apply MTI. But she can join u in UK till then as she will have gap in her employment. 2. Finish Royal college exams & then apply GMC through that. She can always apply for dependent visa but won't be able to apply for a MTI post I'd she is on UK soil. (As it would again cause gap in employment). If she were to go via royal college membership or plab she could join u as dependent, it won't matter if she any gaps then. Only for MTI there needs to be continuity. Hope this helps.
