I love them! Torch the handle where it goes in the head, this makes the wood harder. Throw the stupid set screw away too. Tomahawk handles are friction fitted and the set screw is trash.
@@asmith7876 It definitely does impressive chopping! I missed my old one when I gave it to my brother in law last year so I had to get a new one. I wish they stopped putting that same set screw, all I see in it is a weak point.

Mine came glossy, glad they did away with that . I believe I had just seen them on sale for $25

Older models didn't have that stupid set screw...easily removed! The trail hawk is an excellent tool, chops above its weight level.
