Thanks for the throughout review 🙏 My 🦐 should be here 🔜
@@HauZuah thank you for the view!! It’s a great little knife!
We love these shovels!
Kershaw is killin it these days. My go to keychain blade is the spyderco ladybug. I snagged one in s30v
@@n_conway7571 if they made a Kershaw cinder with Ti and s30v I’d die and buy two immediately
I have a Gerber multi-tool in my back pocket. standard issue Dad Edition. it has everything I need.
Everything & Anything, BTW I love hearing johnny cash sing while looking at your knives
I have a lot of esee knives and I love them all thx for showing us this video I really enjoyed it 👍
@@peteraltman6374 thank you for the view and comment! Yeah I definitely loves Esee Knives right next to Tops on my list
I have the hm, love it
@@WilliamLalonde-p2q this one is super comfortable but that HM seems great on another level!
@@WilliamLalonde-p2q thank you for the comment/ view!!! Hope you enjoyed the review
@Cociobladereviews yeah good review.happy holidays
Edge is to thick for cardboard
@@jamesnelson1443 For sure it is!
It's nice to see that this shovel has multiple uses. I however carry a camping hatchet for wood processing. I would only use this shovel for chopping wood as a last resort.
@@perrylaw7011 definitely a multifaceted tool but yes, I keep my Hults Bruk with me for wood processing.
@@Cociobladereviews I carry a Husqvarna Hatchet.
12c27 is the steel mora knife uses
@@TheWibbo Thank you! Then I’ve definitely used it before!
Just fucking beautiful. Form meets Function in a curved French blade. No BS and knife named for what it is a BILLHOOK I will buy one thanks Angel you get the SUB nice work
I appreciate the Sub, View, and most importantly your input. Definitely agree with every word you said!!!
Got one a few weeks ago. Going to give it to my son. Its kind of weak for a daily driver in horticulture. The Klein or Milwaukee hawksbill are robust for daily or harsher use.
I can for sure understand that point about robustness. I’m sure your son will Love it, definitely a great knife and especially for Horticulture!! Thank you for the view and comment!!!
Big ups
@@lexis831 Thank you for the view/ support friend!!! Hope the video was informative!!
Mine came glossy, glad they did away with that . I believe I had just seen them on sale for $25
@@slowtaknow Yeah my first one ever was glossy but this one thankfully came without it! Thanks for view!!!
What a good presentation. Well done.
@@frsoh Thank you very much! I appreciate the feedback on how this video came out, was hoping for clean and clear lesson! Thanks again!
Older models didn't have that stupid set screw...easily removed! The trail hawk is an excellent tool, chops above its weight level.
@@asmith7876 It definitely does impressive chopping! I missed my old one when I gave it to my brother in law last year so I had to get a new one. I wish they stopped putting that same set screw, all I see in it is a weak point.
Neat piece Angel. I think the Lynchseed oil was a good idea.
@@n_conway7571 Thank you old friend!! Yeah I love the way it feels and also looks!!
Looks like a good tool , hopefully it last for awhile ..
@@OutdoorswThatGuy it’s a great tool! I know it’ll last for a while, I won’t be throwing it again lol
Always bring a shovel when you go camping, that is a great size for fire pit maintenance and latrine duty. Fun channel, liked and subscribed
@@Wcquick Absolutely Right, you know how many time I dug a hole with a stick and rock before I got this tool, now I’m set lol. Thanks for the view and Subscribing!!!
Best bang for your buck when it comes to field shovels. You can hone the edge to be much sharper. You can also carve a longer handle out of a branch or even make a pick axe with a branch with a “Y” in it.
@@EricDaMAJ Definitely have to agree with you easily, such a great tool and I absolutely understand the hype! Thank you for the view and support!!
I’m a horticulturist and hike and these are the best tools ever. They make great garden tools that transplant better than anything and they are better for hiking since I have man sized turds. I have got too many to count for gifts as well…the shovels not my turds 😂 Don’t depend for wood processing it’s too thin but anything in the dirt yes
@@Atheistbatman That’s so cool to hear about your experience and solid backing if this tool! Yeah definitely hope you don’t give out turds (I don’t judge lol). Thank you for the view and support’
I got one of these for putting in my car, glad to see that it's still being made in Taiwan to the original spec as this thing cannot be beat as a multi-purpose tool.
@@elusivellama It’s a truly awesome tool that I look forward to using once I get a new handle! Thanks for the comment and view!!
I just purchased one last night on Amazon and should be receiving it on Monday. I am a 69 years old disabled veteran who served in South Korea in the early 1970s as an infantryman. I still have a folding entrenching tool which was issued after my service. It is a tank but too much weight for me to carry in my backpack. This new Cold Steel shovel should be more of a nice addition.
@ Thabk you for your service. This is definitely a nice balance of strong yet not too heavy. Best of luck to your time with this tool!!! Thank you for the comment I appreciate it!!!
Liked mine so much I picked up a second recently. Figured I would before they start making them in China or something, like some of their other products (looking at you, cold steel machetes)
@@ShoahBiz mine is the Taiwan version and I’m definitely impressed. I too plan on getting another one to keep in my little truck and the one in the video is for my backpack
This shovel is a very underated survival tool. Can do many things well including self defense.
Definitely would agree, when I get a new handle in it I want to do a video showing it chopping ribs or something. Thanks for the view!!!
Great video.
@@TheHunter.2023 Thank you very much! I’m glad you enjoyed and I hope you got some info out of it! Thanks for the support
Nice video, I just ordered mine after watching 😅 I just wonder why there is no single video on youtube of the knife 🤔 Good job with the video
@@M.W.2703 Thank you for the view and support! Yes my thoughts exactly, this knife is great and I was confused no one has reviewed it yet.
@@Cociobladereviews For a chopper too small, for a cutter too thick. Thats why.
Very good review!
Thank you so much for the support and kind words! Glad you enjoyed!
How does it feel in a reverse grip?
Very solid and comfortable honestly!
looks like a great felling handle as well. I was thinking about getting the clinch pick 2.0 but i think i like this better....
This can definitely be a nice little self defense knife for sure. Very solid grip and is slim, light, and small
Neat little blade, thinking of getting one as well. Love the sheath you did was wondering if youd be able to make me one too
If you have insta my leatherwork account is @cocio.leatherwork that’s the best way to talk about some custom work! It’s a freak little underrated knife.
I can’t read what you said it’s blocked
Your knife breaking as a result of you throwing it will not be covered by tops warranty. So throw at your own risk.
Probably take No. 32...
Take 69 actually
Great video. Informative and honest. I just ordered one and think it will suit my needs just fine
Hey there! Thank you for the support and view! I definitely am happy with this knife and it’s my EDC Fixed blade now. Glad to hear you are trying one out!
Good to know, thanks
I have two now and one axe I keep in my my jeep I wish I could have got my hands on one 50 years ago
Got one. I love it, a good buy
You won’t regret it! I’ve been carrying mine in my backpack every single day, like to work/ social events, errands and it’s great not to mention it’s been used countless times these past years! Thank you for the view and comment!
That first piece of wood was rotten lol. No wonder it didn't split it just disintegrated
Man you should test WORK SHARP FIELD SHARPNER. The most effective most awesome sharpening system ever had.
Would absolutely buy that for camping
I’ll keep you updated on how it goes when I’m out camping and using it
Big ups 🫡
The Husqvarna Camping Axe is the EXACT same hatchet but branded as a Husqvarna for literally 2/3 the price or less!
I saw this a while back and bought the same model. Love it!
Thanks for the view! This knife is a great. Option for a lil edc fixedblade. I found it a lot more useful compared to the full size after carrying and using them, just my opinion, but again the mini is great!
Informative video
Glad to hear that! Thank for watching!
Very nice, I been looking behind the glass for this knife , it looks so nice I’m might be getting it.
Well I looked and pondered getting it from march of 2023 to around December and I wish I’d gotten it sooner. I’m very happy with and definitely say it’s worth every penny.
Thanks for the review Angel! Love the custom sheath you had at the end, it's great to see how people personalize their knives.
Thank you for the support and great knife! Loving this knife and thank you, I love doing leatherwork and had to give it a leather sheath, but I keep that kydex ready if I know weather or the location I’m going to is going to be wet.
That knife is a tank
Thank you so much for watching. I’m a big fan of your stuff and I’ve been watching your box moccasin ranger videos over and over again. This knife is absolutely a tank!
Nice one bro!
Thank you so much!! I’m loving this knife!
