Yes utilize the TH-cam songs that go along with the books! My girls loved them. We started level A with my advanced 3 year old and she thrived!!

My mama brain always tells me not to force my oldest to play with my youngest because he will grow up to despise his siblings. 😂 I guess that is part of the guilty mom feeling that we sometimes get.
I get that! I think there’s always a healthy balance needed, but I believe firmly that older siblings should help out the younger ones. I think it teaches them a lot about life. I also believe as a family unit we all need to work together. 💗

I am interested in hearing your thoughts on good and beautiful. I started using it last year. It really helped me figure out what I need to teach. My kids have excelled. I also like to add easy peasy workbooks to give them more work. I have no heard of logic.

I buy used as much as possible. It's just like you said - why would I care if something is bent? It's definitely going to be bent (and probably torn and taped) by the time we are done with it anyway 🤷 I'm loving seeing more vids on MBtP!

My kiddo did an and b in one year and then it’s taken us all year for level c. But everyone is different. C ramps up at the end so we are taking it slow.

My first 3 kids read quickly, but my younger 2 boys have been a lot slower. My 7 year old is about half way through level B. Things have been speeding up a lot lately... especially for my 7yo because it's finally starting to click, but I'm not worried. My 5 year old is half way through A. We tried Teach Your Child to Read and Pathway Phonics with reading eggs and Bob Books, but none explained the "why" for sounding out words. Even though it's time consuming with 5 kids and Math With Confidence for both, it's worth it.

The good and the beautiful is working so good for one daughter but not the other. Maybe she’d like this one! My older one panicked when I mentioned switching so we’ll keep her on it 😂

I love flash cards too! That love led me to Christian Light Education. They have flash cards for reading, language arts and math.
I watched so many TGATB videos and saw that their phonics instruction was lacking. I really wanted to like it! It’s so beautiful.

I don’t think they sell them separately. =\ But you could try looking up logic of English flash cards.
What grade level would you say level c is geared for ?
I think 1st grade.
