I got addicted to this salad when I lived in Chicago. Unfortunately, I don't have access to Sirene cheese anymore. No other cheese matches it and makes the salad not need anything else besides the vegetables! Thank you so much for the demonstration!
I'm so sorry you can't find the cheese. The only other stores I have found it in are Armenian stores. You can try Greek feta as well. It's not the same but close enough. Good luck and thank you for watching! 😊
I saw this on an episode of Rick Steves Europe. There was an episode where Rick was in Bulgaria at a house and had a shopska salad. This looked really good

I spend 3 months out of the year in Bulgaria. And i have a shopska salad once a day some times twice.
