Base damage seems to be roughly the same as a sabretooth, but the sabres get some attacks that do more damage, and bleed. Greater yakiths have slightly higher base hp than sabres, but less per point of vitality. So, it feels like they could be a little more powerful without creating problems.
Think so too. If they want they can make them more expensive but as it is this kind of lame hp and dmg without a any buff is usles. Even tho seen them in pvp and their fast as hell so one use there is for them, but for regular farning and pve there are better options and easier. Like playfull pup.
talking about sharp, pointy teeth, I wish we could grab and tame the monty python holy grail easter egg bunny I found in siptah.. its just a bunny, chilling on a bed of bones and burst out laughing when I found him harvesting berries and fiber..
The Yakith give Feline Pelt when skinned (in the wild, anyway). That, combined with their leap/claw attack, would make it seem as if they are cats. It seems, given their cost and origin, that they could be buffed a little. As it stands, I think the playful pups and the Tcho Tcho allies are better (especially the veterans, which have some very cool attacks).
I think they should beef the yakith up by a lot but they should make you pay with eldarium or bars instead. This way it balances a strong purchasable pet.
I once found a yakith pike/spear on a yakith l, it was killed yakith spear/pike was wandering if you had any videos showing how to get this weapon as I have not been able to find it since
At 1000 or 500 gold, they're about 10x too expensive for what you get. The stats just don't measure up with the obstacle course and the grinding you have to do to buy them. Funcom needs to give them something special to make them worthwhile. They could make them ridable. They could make them follow you in addition to a mount and a thrall. They could do something else unique. I don't think the game needs yet another thing that they make over-powerful and then have to nerf when PvPers complain. To me they look and act pretty much like a demon dog, so I think of them as a dog. Pets are a fun addition to the game, but they really aren't very useful, except for mounts. Thralls are better in every way, especially bearer thralls in Siptah. Bearers can get even more health than a named fighter and make a nice, aggressive archer or fighter in addition to carrying your stuff. If you get them from a jailor you don't even have to wait for them to come out of the wheel. You can enhance them with weapons and armor and some buffs like warpaint and potions. You can't do any enhancements with your pets. They just are what they are. On Siptah especially, where you have thralls in cages just waiting to be freed from their jailors, why would you ever want to buy a pet or a thrall? Just go around killing jailors and freeing their prisoners until you get a thrall you like. You don't have to spend a single gold coin, just spill some blood. Jailors are pretty easy to kill... all that guarding of caged prisoners makes them soft and squishy.

I really don't understand why in these settlement all are hostile, this make exploration a little more frustrating... specially when you have to hunt for thralls.

Regardless of it being a dog or cat they have claws and sharp pointy teeth which should at the very least do bleed damage.

Would it it help more by feeding them human flesh and having them kill red crested lacerta lizards to level them up?

Can you tame the giant primitive guys with armor?
Getting the playfull pup is easier than this and its stronger. So they need to buff them litle bit.
