Really impresed with kit Maybe just few modfications on crash bar for 8Y to remove ACC bracket and hood holder. Other than that 10/10
@@vagperformance3427 Thank you for the kind words! We decided to keep the ACC brackets so the same product would fit both the 8V and 8Y since the license plate covers it either way. But the brackets can of course be trimmed if they're not needed :)
The increased airflow and cooling efficiency more than negates any theoretical turbo lag from the increased size. The turbo will actually have less resistance and spool easier/faster with a well designed intercooler. As with anything it comes down to balance, if you install an intercooler of ridiculous proportions with bad airflow on a car with a tiny engine/turbo and keep everything completely stock, then yes you might have a slight increase in turbo lag. No system is better than its weakest component at the end of the day. If you instead use a model specific intercooler with optimized design and efficient cooling/airflow this is not an issue, especially not when paired with a good tune that can take advantage of the new performance capabilities 🙂

I noticed heat-soak even during winter is quite visible if running in sport mode, I cant imagine what it will be like during summer time.
Yes but stock car is not loosing performance even when IAT is 50+ celzius
