Yes, i totally agree. I love when Eubie is singing. Maybe you have seen it alreday, but he also performed at the Gibson Jazz Party, this is the link: th-cam.com/video/v3P9sxqJfF0/w-d-xo.html (1:32:26). Most emotional part is still when they performed "Perdido" all together.
Sensitive rag, following Novelty Rag, is Eubie's Classical Rag. One of my favorites. CORRECTION- this is Melodic Rag. Now I am Making the same mistake Eubie made. He would often mix up titles in later life, classical and Melodic rags. Same as tricky fingers and troublesome ivories (black keys on parade)
@@whototeru Hello, this audio came from a CD that my father had made from the original tape recording(s). I don't know if those tapes still exist or where they ended up if they do.
Thank you for sharing this priceless recording.
Thanks for sharing this treasure!
Thank you so much!!!!
Hearing Eubie sing along with Goodnight Angeline is very touching and emotional.

What a treasure! The "Eubie Library of Congress recordings"! The piece at 1:27, following Novelty Rag, is Melodic Rag.
Goodnight, Angeline, is one of my favorites. I nearly cried hearing Eubie sing it!
Final roll is The Down Home Blues
This brings back priceless memories of my visits with Mike for many years in Southfield. Thanks so much for posting these priceless recordings!
The actual title of Publishers Blues was Dangerous Blues by Billie Brown
A wonderful glimpse of the "man behind the rolls", thank you for adding this for all to enjoy.
The last tune on CD3 track 12 is of course Arkansas Blues....
The unidentified Roberts tune pb Eubie is of course Spanish Venus.....
Sensitive rag, following Novelty Rag, is Eubie's Classical Rag. One of my favorites.

That's "Melodic Rag"
@@NoveltyPiano you're right. Now I'm turning into Eubie. Lol.
The explanation of "rock me baby" has me laughing.
Why is Dangerous Blues marked as Publishers Blues? Was that an alternate name for it?
Sorry, next to last tune
I would like to cite a small section of this interview in a biography project. Where can I find the raw source data for posterity?
