- We install a newer Gentex Mirror in the 2007 IS250 using a jumper adapter harness. We also install a 12V outlet to hardwire a dash camera with front and rear view. The last thing was to install a front and rear dash camera using a HawkEvo 4K camera from Amazon.

Great tutorial! Looking to do something similar for my 3IS
The 3IS already comes with this mirror.
@@TunerwithKids Oop, meant the dash cam part!
Yea most definitely. Doing hardwire is easy from mirror power.
Hey quick question I see a couple of your videos I see you have the vlands on your 2is, I got the vlands today and I installed them but the passenger side blinker is blinking fast for some reason did I get a bad light or is it something I can fix ?
Check the resistors and add the extra they sent
Hey uncle, I’m installing a frameless mirror on my 2006 gs430 right now 🤦🏽♂️ I’m getting different color wire coming from the car harness (yellow, orange, blue, green & red) I need help! Why do you make things look so easy lol got a link for me if you have time?
*Edit* forgot to mention that the mirror comes with 6 wire, which wire doesn’t get a connection? 😢
06 GS430 should be same mirror as IS250. No idea on what the pins are for the frameless. The GS has dimming side mirrors so you gotta connect all the wires correctly to get the side mirrors to dim.
Hello! Very helpful video! I couldn't find the 5 pin female 2007 IS250 rear view mirror connector on Ali Express. I found the later 10 pin connector. Could you post a link for it?
The one mentioned at the 7:33 mark - Thanks!
@user-mf3ht6ci9y you cut the old one off the original mirror for the 5 pin.
I understand! I will do that! Thank you for responding.
@user-mf3ht6ci9y other option is to depin and insert into a 10 pin male on the car side.
I think it'll be easier to cut the 5 pin female connector off of the old mirror, leaving a pig tail, and solder it on to my son's new mirror pig tail like you domonstrated in the video. The new mirror has a nice pigtale plugged into it. So do I just match the 5 colors? I tried to see on yours but I want to be accurate. Again, thank you so much!
Is there a setting to flip the rear camera orientation?
Naw. Gotta flip the install.
Thought about doing this to 1st Gen IS300?
Working on something but the IS300 has a stupid circular mount. I have the mirror glue and a standard mount. I keep forgetting to cut a harness from the junkyard to make a jumper.
