Not many people, drummers can emulate Lombardo...the power, the feel, the speed. Delta pulls it off.
Lombardo’s drum tracks are easy to pull off, especially after ‘RIB’. Bostaph’s work with SLAYER is harder (more technical).

I am not a professional musician, but, as far as I heard in 40+ years, the drum part for this song is an absolute masterpiece and a landmark in music history, not just in the metal genre. Dave Lombardo earned his place in the drummer's Pantheon with this part. What Delta brings new is a totally "inhumane" drum approach. I am not referring at his speed, technique, the way he kicks (all amazing)......the BLAST here is the way he moves his hands. Perfection....

I just wanted to say as a new subscriber who recently found your channel a little over a week and half ago, every single video I’ve watched has led me to believe that you’re not just some regular guy who uploads drum covers on TH-cam just for fun! Yes you’re doing that to a certain degree but what I’m saying is, you’re not a regular person! You have to be a drummer who’s done extensive studio work as a musician and or someone who’s been a touring drummer. You may have been in a famous band or several famous bands but one thing is certain, you play the drums with such a fiery passion and with perfect form and immense drumming technique that you can’t be just a regular dude who does videos on TH-cam! I definitely mean no disrespect at all in what I’m saying. I have nothing but the highest admiration for you and the level of skill you possess! I also wanted to say that all of your hard work in tuning your snare, to how you mic your Kit, the camera angles you use, the amazing audio and camera editing that each video has, is not wasted at all! I appreciate all the hard work that goes into recording each and every video you make! I love how is true identity is concealed and you can tell he's totally feeling it. I love drummers that look like they are having fun. I'm a 3rd generation percussionist myself and I hate drummers who play stiff. I get it, we are the time keepers and everything goes to us but you gotta relax and just enjoy what your doing and not treat it like a "job". Playing music is truly a gift.

I have been a drummer for a long time. DELTA.....I have seen many people do covers but in their style not the style of the artist that created the music. It's incredible your sound and your striking force and ability to channel the original player's playing style. Every video I see you do, you bring something special that makes it feel so authentic. This is THE song that bring me into metal at 13 ( 1995 ) while watching Beavid and Butthead, they played that song. At this moment I knew I was hook, at 6 months later I started to play guitar ! the intro is something different... the long slow but so hard intro.... perfect !

I would like to commend you on the sound and tone of your drums. They sound more natural than some of the metal bands , today. Also it’s one thing to play with multiple fills and scattered flashes. You hit with power and conviction. It shows a “true” love of the music and your instrument.

seat hight is about the same...Lombardo is sitting low too.double bass feet technique is similar gets the power from the calf muscles...but body movement is not the same and hand technique too
