Thankfully we got the ps3 edition and also the ps4 edition (so we can switch from bedrock to console edition because we owned ps4 edition before it made the move to bedrock) Good times
@@uncleol i had no idea about some of the legacy mini game music being written by Daniel (until toycat's new video), so I wasn't even paying attention to it and I hadn't known about there existing such a great, and official, remake of Alpha. It's definitely not better, but my life feels more complete knowing that one more thing about the music of Minecraft.

I'm even suspecting that microsoft wanted him to grant them full ownership of all his past and future works, similar to how they tried to do it with Julian Gough. That'd explain the nightmares and stuff.

Btw, since you seem to be very familiar with ps3, is there any controller input delay? Because that fake one I bought, it has a huge delay compared to XOne

I don't think it's completely confirmed but the coincidental difference in the type of music strongly supports the conclusion. Gareth Coker mainly focused on faster and more upbeat type songs. This song leans more towards c418's type of music style. Also the ending of this song has a sampled section from c418's alpha song so overall, it's more likely that these collection of songs came from c418

(more information: battlemode 2 is in G# minor, but right as the climax arrives, it becomes E lydian because of the E major 7 to G#m9 (9 of G#, A#, being a tritone from E). Same thing happens to Alpha.
