Worked for Ghirardelli for 15 years back in the mid 80's to late 90's. The company sure has come a long way. Didn't recognize any of the machinery or facilities in this video as actually being where most of the chocolate is actually mass produced in San Leandro, California. Do however recognize some of the old San Francisco Manufactury and retail store. Surprisingly I did not see one Hispanic Production Staff in this video. Over 65% of the Production Crew in San Leandro were of Hispanic decent when I worked there as a Production Team Leader. Have the demographics really changed that much? hmmm
@@jordannardolillo5920 It's actually not. When rich white people see other white people making what is supposed to be "quality goods", it's makes the rich believe it truly is classy, clean, fresh, and superior. Why do you think rich areas have more white people working there? Because white people make up the large majority of the wealthy class.
I eat chocolate and white chocolate. I also eat beef, pork, chicken and pretty much if it had a heartbeat? I'd eat it. I do feel guilt and understand vegetarian/vegan.
This makes me feel better about eating 3 squares at 2am. I'm lucky to have all the bars cuz I went to Disney springs. There's also caffeine in the dark chocolate so I have to be careful when I eat it. Wish me luck sleeping lol
Here I am at 3:17 AM eating Ghirardelli chocolate while watching a Ghirardelli video lol
Ana Kim yeah lol the only reason why a person would watch this
Omg u did it at 3 am the chocolate ghost man is gonna get u
That weed (or depression, or both) must have been really strong
Ana Kim yo, same

I feel Ghirardelli should also make their hot cocoa products in Keurig K-Cup pods.
I live in San Francisco and when you go to the actual location they have mean ass hot chocolate and ice cream.
Never had it at 58 yrs old I must say most superior chocolate I have ever ever tasted. My Top Hat is off to You. Thankyou, Michael
I love this....this is the work environment every employee dreams of....I'd love to bring my skills to this company.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉👍🏾

Originally was a peruvian chocolate factory moved to California, U.S,A,
Does the milk they use in their milk chocolate come from factory farm cows or grass-fed cows?
Is the grass they feed the cows up to par? Or even the damn dirt? Or the water that goes into the dirt?
@@treyhannah7228 at least it's what cows were designed to eat
@@johnconner9400 very true.
I believe it's grass fed.

"We're actually quite a small-sized company." - Subsidiary of Lindt: a $6.5 billion company with 14,000 employees.
They are small compared to retail giants like Walmart, Costco, target ect. They’re small compared to the Hershey company which employs 21,000

The narrator has never worked a life-sucking 9-5 job in an office before. Working 40hrs = must love your job?
Just an add for the company, not anything about the product itself.
Eat the 🍫 feeling very happy.. $$###
