I’m moving to Knoxville from Tampa . I got fed up with the people, prices, taxes, flat terrain, 6 months of hell, and now more than before hurricanes. Hopefully the prices don’t keep going up East Tennessee forever it’s been underrated for some time though
New subscriber from Kettering OH. Well done video. Just can't talk my partner, Theresa, into it yet. The "con" of the sales tax does not bother me, as there is no state income tax, as you mentioned, which would save me about $3K a year. Also, I want to be out in the country with 15+ acres or more and real estate taxes in TN, are so much less than here in Ohio! I currently pay $6K on a $400k home, and it goes up every two to three years. Last but not least, TN is a great 2nd amendment state! Best wishes, Steve.
Absolutely, my thoughts exactly. give me a call anytime even if you are not ready to make the move. I can put you on the MLS so that you can keep an eye on prices.
What is the best area near Chattanooga to live now? Suburban type environment convenient to the city but away from the crime and with reasonable home prices and quality? What side of the city do YOU live on?
Agents legally can’t say anything about crime because a determined safety level can be different for everyone. There are some great crime maps online. However, there are other factors that I can talk about which have determined where I live. I prefer the country areas, where I see less people, and more farms. I can tell you more on a call, call anytime

@@ChattanoogaLife I prefer less populated areas also, but I do enjoy convenience to stores and restaurants, and city water, sewer and gas services.
