If you're thinking about moving here, you might wonder about the pros and cons. Compared to big cities, Chattanooga has a slower pace, and that's a good thing! It means you can enjoy the outdoors and not feel rushed. Speaking of outdoors, the weather is pretty nice. You get to experience all four seasons - spring, summer, fall, and winter - without it getting too hot or too cold. It's just right! Choosing where to live in Chattanooga is exciting too. There are neighborhoods for everyone - some with artsy vibes, others with historic charm. As a realtor, I can help you find the perfect place. Chattanooga isn't just a place to live; it's a place to have fun! From exploring the cool downtown to hiking in the mountains, there's always something to do. One of the best things about living here is the cost of living. It's not too high, which means you can save money for all the fun activities in the city. I still prefer Hallandale Beach Florida more it’s a beautiful city with a growing communities and businesses and a good nightlife.❤️

Perfect comparison. I’m looking to move from SW Florida to Chattanooga. Many of the reasons you’ve listed are what I’m finding as well. I’ll be revisiting Chattanooga in March 24’ to see if it’s truly what I want for my family and I. I briefly spent some time there recently and love the area and all that it offers.

Northeast TN from the Tri-Cities down to, and including, Sevier County TN are nice places for Floridians to move to if they are retirees trying to escape the high cost of everything. I’m trying to talk 🧐my wife into it. Not easy. 😠

People leaving Florida to go to Tennessee I think fall into three camps. First camp is young families who are trying to buy a house. The 2nd one and probably the largest is retirees who want to move to a state that doesn't have income tax. The third are your Midwest halfbacks.

@@ethanlivingood9426 neither does Tennessee. Florida doesn’t have income tax but they make up for it with high taxes , insurance, car insurance. Etc not to mention wages are low also.
