@occommuter yes, the Kenda tiers fit the 700×35-40 Tannus armour, so you're tube size will go to 700×23-28, no need to trim the armour. But they got solid tier as well, which i never got to tri. Had them for almost 6 months, no flats yet. Even got them on a mountain bike i got. I've seem to be come so attached to them, im almost scared to go without them now.
@@tonygod70 Thanks, I’ve changed plenty of eBike tubes, but the tire just pulls off the rim, and I’ve never seen a presta valve but it was somewhat intuitive. And I’ve never had a bike with a quick release tire, this was all new to me.
I had a bike a couple of years ago that had 700c tires with that damn presta valve! I finally sold it to my brother. I will say, a small punture like that, slime would have kept you on the road. I actually bought a spare tube, branded slime with the stuff in it. Lesson learned? Ride with slime or something else in the tires😊
@@djr5526 yeah I knew I was riding at risk without the slime, I bought tubes instead and planning on slime this week but I’ve never put slime through a presta valve, I might have to get a slime spare tube like your saying, I’m used to eBike swap outs this was easy, changing eBike rear tire tubes is really time consuming
I strongly suggest you go to a bike shop and ask them to show you how to change a tube without using any tools. This was painful to watch. I also suggest you put some tougher more durable kevlar tires. Ditch those Kenda.
@@rickjones7133 Thank you for the advice. I’ve been riding this bike for 2 weeks, I’m learning as I go and regarding tires, I can barely afford Bell tubes, as the channel grows so will my experience and so will my resources. I’m not a cyclists, I am someone who got tired of driving to work everyday and wanted to explore the cities and neighborhoods from point A my home to point B my work and share it in video form. I want to get slick tires so when I do I will check out Kevlar. I appreciate your comment and feedback.
@@occommuter Search in maps, it’s called Amped Bikes. Its probably a shop that closed down. Went looking for it because the shop that I would go to before closed down “Bici Center” on Main and St Gertrude. Too bad he closed, guys was really nice.
@@occommuter I know you can get Schrader valves in those tubes may have to order online. I once had a 700c bike and the Schrader valves were out there just harder to find

Tannus armour is really good.
@@Testbug-dy6tj I wanted to get that for my eBike but never got around to it, have you used it on this type of bike?

Good show! Ran into a little trouble, got out of it, continued riding. Always something to learn watching someone do a repair. Thanks for sharing.

Love the ready-made workbench!
@@Aredubu haha very convenient, there’s also some helpers wandering around if necessary a great spot to fix a flat

These types of video's are better in 60fps imo, like your previous videos
@@sfdsdfsdfsdfful Awesome, thank you I wasn’t sure if anyone else noticed those kinds of details, 60fps it is, I appreciate your feedback, I agree
There’s a shop somewhere around that spot you stopped to fix the tire, by Alton and Main. Went looking for it a few months ago, never found it.
Cool I will take a look for sure
