i discovered the super duper handy swiss army knife corkscrew worked really well to pick the primer bulb pieces out. what worked nice is getting the point wedged under the ring, then turning the corkscrew to lock it in. and pull.

The tecumseh carb is a solid piece of equipment. Ive heard stories of owners in the midwest using black nitrile gloves temporarily as a bulb patch to keep their snowblowers working in an emergency snowstorm.
I need a new primer bulb.
I might try it and see if it works.

Hello, Have you ever experienced the new primer bulb tearing when installing? I bought a 2 pack and they both tore. I thought maybe the socket was causing it to tear, but looking at your video, It looks like the tear may be taking place at 12 oclock on that inner bore - where there are cutouts on both sides. Gonna try again, but just wondering if you'd ever experienced this before. Thanks for the video!

My Karcher pressure washer with Tecumseh engine started with 3 pushes on the primer bulb. First pull. Ran it for 5 minutes and shut it off. No way to start it 5 minutes later. New spark plug. Seems it has a starting problem when the engine is hot.

Sounds like the fuel plunger is stuck open? located on the bottom of the carb.

The drain plug is the only thing I see on the bottom of carb.

When I ordered mine it came with a spring and a white part to put the spring on I assume it goes in another type of carburator?

some have a snap ring as well so Yes sounds like for other types.
