4 years in the Faith, bleeding JCalvin and JGerstner, she randomly comes across a PDF by "this Paulson guy". Who is this, some new Theologian...what the heck, I thought Martin was just a cute and crazy Monk given a good mission...oh hell. 1517... bam you're all brilliant. Glad my daughter married the son of a Lutheran Pastor. Very glad.
Those who confuse God's wrath with God's love are still confusing law and gospel. Those who deny that the gospel is about Christ's death as satisfaction of law cannot do anything but conflate law and gospel.
The pattern that runs throughout salvation history (the Bible) is salvation and judgement. The law is good, but our sinful nature and the law find a common friend in one another because when the law is read the flesh is prone to try to follow it by our own efforts. The Lord wants us to know his will. But if we’re walking by the spirit living in God’s word, we can follow him without observing the law because we will follow him willingly rather than obligatory following. The law doesn’t actually bring about a change to turn to God. That’s why Paul said the letter kills!
if you believe, it is already done logically would imply that it was not already done (if you do not keep believing) the ugly assumption by Luther is that everybody is born in the church so there is no us and no them there is no Bible command to obey the gospel (but look it up) " There is no longer any Christian place" Certeau, The Practice of Everyday Life

Nobody who fails to understand this can understand the Bible or the Christian faith.
