Christ opened your eyes to understand the scriptures Mr. Bird. Thank you fo sharing that understanding with us. You have blessed many with “Christ in you”.

@chadbird1517 You have been a blessing to me. I have been binging on your 40 minutes in the OT podcast for the last several months. I have binged on your books. I enjoyed Night Driving and understand why Christianity is truly an upside-down 'religion'. Well done Chad!!!

Thank you for this God inspired message. I so miss going to worship just to worship; learn of God, get Holy instruction and direction. Does my heart good to hear the message the Good News of Christ is still sovereign and taught in His love. Thank you for your service in this ministry. God bless you and yours.

magnificent, thank you! there was also a wind on the day of pentecost, and a wind in the jps tenach version of genesis 1:2.. "When God began to create heaven and earth - the earth being unformed and void, with darkness over the surface of the deep and a wind from God sweeping over the water-"

Mr Bird....what’s the Hebrew for “DROP THE MIC!” That was the most incredible proclamation of Jesus’s story I think I’ve ever heard!! God be praised!!!!!!

God brought all Israel out of Egypt through the Red Sea where He buried Israel's sin and brought them to Kadesh Barnea where the promise was before them. Believe and occupy it. God has brough by faith those who by the faithfulness of Christ and His shed blood to the Christian Kadesh Barnea where, by faith, we occupy the free Gift of God forever.

Star Wars, pinacolada , are you serious?
The enemies I agree not one of them remained !
How many of the the Hebrews also survived to enter the promised land ?
Please stop telling only a little of the truth.

Correction. We CAN and are TOLD to sanctify ourselves and be holy. And, God is not Jesus. Jesus wasn’t at the burning bush. Jesus made it clear he isn’t God . God cannot die. God does not need to be baptized in the River Jordan.
    Leviticus 20:7-8
    King James Version
7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the Lord your God.

Leviticus 20: 7&8. You shall consecrate yourselves therefore and be holy, for I am the Lord your God. And you shall keep my statutes and practice them: I am the Lord who sanctifies you.
Exodus 3:2. And an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a blazing fire from the midst of a bush........(4)When the Lord saw that, God called to him from the midst of the bush.
John 6:54 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.
      Painless!

This is a masterpiece of brilliant metaphorical teaching about the carrot of faith, leaving for another day the stick.

      You’re leaving out v.8
8 Keep my statutes and do them; I am the LORD who sanctifies you.
We live sanctified lives now that we belong to God. He already established His covenant with them and told them that He was making them into a kingdom of priests and a Holy nation (Exodus 19:4-6).
It is God who sanctifies us. Sanctified means set-apart to the Lord.
