The reason for Nissan Rogue is because of long term expensive breakdowns of their transmission. At least, Hyundai and Kia provides the 100,000 miles warranty for their similar engine. Although, I hear horror stories of their dealerships figuring out unscrupulous ways not to honor that warranty!

The European car Audi, BMW, MBenz, VW are unreliable they're very expensive to repairs. That's how they gain profit from the consumer by annual service fees and repair bs.
Oh ! By the way never had a problem with it in the 10 years I had it. Husband passed away and when I had trouble with electric panels didn't have the money to fix it .
Question for you... even if they sold any of these for One dollar and you knew it would fail or burn up unexpectedly would you still spend the One dollar? You're putting yourself and your family (if you have one) in mortal danger is what it boils down to. The vehicle manufacturers simply Don't care about people and are ever greedy for your hard earned pretty much worthless money, that buys less and less as time goes by. All of these brands have a few things in common: Poor reliability. Nissan, Stelantis made cars and Hyundai/Kia have notoriously bad drive train issues. Either transmissions or engines that prematurely fail. German made cars are notorious for engine issues and outrageous repair costs due to poor accessibility of components. Ford and Chevy engines are no longer reliable. Of cars today, the only ones i would consider are Honda, Toyota, Mazda, and more recently, Suburu.
