looks like a catch and release pond.
It is connected to a large body of water. Most that fish it keep everything they catch. We chose to catch and release.

I fish spots just like this it's such a blast sight fishing. Next time try a small demon in pink with a single wax worm
My local lake has a giant shallow flat that is 4 to 7 ft deep at the most would this pattern work on it during early ice
With ice being thin early on in the ice season, does the color of your clothing affect the bite? I'm only asking because PJ was wearing white clothing and it seemed like he was catching more fish.
Clothing color? No, I'm sure not. PJ did catch more fish. He has been fishing that bite since he was a little kid. He's got the wiggle figured out. 😁
when you have sponsors and you have to use everything on early ice haha.. good fishing though

Nice video James. question are the cam's you are using on top of the locators Garmin's they don't look like Gopro's.
They are GoPros. We use a large battery pack that plugs into the back of the GoPros which makes them look quite a bit different.

On the contrary, I think it's normal structure(less) for first ice Gills and Crappies to be found. Least it is on bodies of waters I've ice fished all my life. Mississippi River Backwaters can kind of relate to fish being shallow and can be found from first ice to last in featureless structure versus the Madison Chain up shallow early ice. Most of the time when you know your on fish, you don't even need to use your electronics(which sometimes I feel you catch more without)in that shallow of water and just hole hop. See PJ was doing that(going without electronics)

That strike master auger I was skeptical till my friend bought one and I'm definitely thinking that's gonna be the next auger but my jiffy stealth is still running just fine

That’s great to hear! Electric motors are only going to get better. A drill setup changed the game for me last season.
Using a drill & drill plate 7" auger. Half the weight of gas. Drilling a bunch of holes before switching batteries. Slick.

Trigger X is still available pre-rigged on VMC jigs. The bags with bodies only are no longer available.
