    A lovely tree , Mike. Very useful as an ingredient for countless fruity recipes. The local birds appreciate it too.

      Thanks Dominic. With regards to recipes, the one that keeps coming to mind is Harry and Meghan, the royal rebels, that chose a lemon and elderflower flavour cake for their wedding in 2018 😁

    Looks like a bumper harvest this year, Mike! It's great that it attracts so much wildlife into your garden too.

      Thank you Peter, the only trouble is that the pigeons keeps covering areas below the tree with elderberries rich black poops that stains anything it touches.😄

    I love Elderberries - as well as Elderflowers 😁 Such a useful tree! It seems like our harvest is a bit meagre down here this year, though. I wonder it's because it has been so cold.

      Yes Brett, it’s been a good year for Elderberries. It is prolific in many gardens and along the Green Chain Walks in my area where I have seen foragers harvesting them.
