Hi David, thanks for the tip! Do you mind me asking what sort of printer you use? I have a roll of PETG sitting at home. I will swap it in and see how it goes. Keen to see hows yours turns out! Cheers! Josh

Been watching your videos for a while now and over time have managed to acquire a 3HP 100L compressor and bring it back to life, also picked up a free dishwasher in working order and am looking for the needed gloves and glass etc to do a DIY build. I really like the idea of using a disposable body where the only part to worry about wearing is the air jet as that would be the one part I would not be able to get machined without significant costs. what size ceramic tip would be best suited to 3HP/100L and a dishwasher build? again cant wait for you to get back to posting more videos....
Hi Karl, Thanks for your message. looks like you are well into your build already! I would recommend a 7mm or 8mm ceramic and a 2.5mm air jet. Wearing is not usually a problem if you are using glass beads. I am hoping to get out another video sometime this weekend. Cheers! Josh
@@ArmouryEnterprises Hi Josh. Glad there is some content to occupy my time when I should be working even f only as a distraction for 20 mins while waiting for upgrades to run through :D. so with the 3d printed gun stl files if you went with just a printed body combined with brass slurry and air inlets and a ceramic nozzle with printed retainer how easy is it to vary the air jet size to suit different setups? If the air jet doesn't get worn too bad then that seems like it could be the best possible route in for most people who are doing it hobby style rather than commercially. Would you be able to send stl with the correct air jet size or is it something that could easily be changed with proper software, I would be offloading the printing to a friend. or does the standard stl already run at 2.5mm? might actually get on with building mine any time soon now that my garage has been cleared of all the stuff I was storing for my kids till they moved (1 out and 1 to a new house with more space). Hey grate video👍👍, ! Defo need to buy a 3d printer now, How can I get the file? I think my set up is not working right due to not having a nice gun, Can tell me know what your blast mix, is to? And The ratio cheers
Hey Mark, That is one of the main reasons I designed this gun. A lot of people set up cabinets and get frustrated by poor results. This is a quick way to check if the gun is your issue. Links for the .stl files are in the video description. Thanks for watching!
Hi Olaf, Apologies, I thought I had responded to this question. Minimum would be 4mm before it begins to fail. I have not done any research on the Kennametal nozzles as I am unsure if they are available here. Thanks for watching!
Hi, I dont know anything about 3d printing, does this file print the hose barbs and nozzle etc. Would I need to buy anything else other than the file. Thanks
@@ArmouryEnterprises Is there something you have I can send to a 3d printer service to get a price off them please. I have no idea on how the price their work.
That’s a winner Josh 👌👌👍
Thanks mate! Very happy with the result.
Will be testing some larger ones too over the next month.
PETG is great to print and cheaper than abs print, speed and retraction at 30mm/s 3mm retraction 235 and 87deg printing your gun as we speek

What is the smallest ceramic nozzle I can use with this gun? 3-4mm?
Did you ever try the longer c1 ceramic nozzle like from Kennametal?

Hi,
Yes, everything needed to make a working nozzle is included in the file and can be printed.
