3D printed parts. We have found much success in smoothing and de burring these parts. th-cam.com/video/FgBl3DdivsA/w-d-xo.html We can do some sample parts for you to prove the concept. Please contact me at 828-202-5563 x 103 or nicole@vaporhoningtechnoloties.com Thanks
There infinite ways to mix recipes of abrasive, therefore, we will do our best to publish the processes as we work on certain applications. Currently we have almost 300 videos to discuss every application we can think of and will continue to build on that. Are there any specific applications you are interested in and we will do our best to create video content based on that request?
Ceramic working on aluminium very well. The only problem is when intense aluminium oxide comming in the way. When the machine used propery you can contribute to saving the enviroment. That is the main reason why this machine worth the price. It requires little to none maintenance I'm working with this machine around 25-30 hours / week.
I put 5lbs of Harbor Freight 40/70 ground glass media in the vapor cabinet I bought from you guys and it does not come out very well at all. It stays packed at the bottom of the tank. Any ideas?
So, from the scale on the image of your glass bead media, it looks like they're about 120 to 160 microns in diameter. Do they fracture into smaller particles in use? Are there even smaller glass beads available, like around 5 to 10 microns?
How the company works with create cost? Or the cabins price includes the creating for shipping? And the customer pays shipping cost? Please explain. Thank you
How would this system do for deburring aluminum parts coming out of a CNC? Specifically, the 90 degree intersection of two .625" diameter passages that are 1.25" long. Will shooting the blast stream through the passage deburr the intersection? Thanks!
Can you not use sand if you are wet blasting?? As I presumably you can only get silicoces from inhaling silica sand dust particles. Surely as the process is wet there is no dust?
Thank you for reaching out to us, my name is Niki. There is certainly no dust with this process, but we find the best results are with abrasives such as Glass Bead and Ceramic Bead. Removing paint is done expertly with Aluminum Oxide or other such abrasives. Call for further details 828-202-5563 x 103
It eventually breaks down into glass shards with sharp edges. These sharp edges will ruin the beautiful vapor blasting finish and you will be left with a result similar to sandblasting. This is when you know to change out the abrasive.
Thank you. That video was extremely helpful and well thought out.
Great info. Would like to hear your thoughts on 3d print part finishing too.

Super helpful! Wondering if you have a video of all the different medias being used to compare them and see the different finishes?

what about plain old kiln-dryed builders sand, cheap and coarse, would it do the job?
Great video, if I'm restoring motorcycle alloy parts and want a nice luster, what micron glass bead would work best. cheers
Thanks a million man!! Very informative!!!
Can soda in vapor blasting be reused? Doesn't it dissolve in the water and make it less "abrasive"? What would be the ratio with water?

What grade of glass should i use in a machine like that?
It all depends what your application is.
What media would you used to remove chrome?
What media gives best gloss for aluminium?
For the best shiny finish, we recommend our glass bead because of the significant results it provides and its economical pricing.
I'm wondering what the recommended size of glass bead is used with a cabinet like this for motorcycle restoration?

Does glass bead wear out? What does the finish tell you about the condition of your glass bead?
