Hi!! Have been watching your videos for quite sometime now. Chezhiyan is super cute and am so glad to hear he’s completing one year. Kudos to you 🎉 it’s not something easy to have travelled all these months nurturing a tiny little human and seeing them grow everyday. I have a son as well, he’s 10 mos old. I totally agree on your perspective about not going public and celebrating his birthday. Even am so aligned on this. They are way too young to comprehend as to what’s happening and apart from mom dad and grandparents they might not feel comfortable going to anyone else, esp during an occasion which calls for too much attention they will get overwhelmed. We adults sometimes get tired and overwhelmed greeting and tending to ppl on an occasion, let alone these babies. It will put us mothers in a tough situation where the baby doesn’t want to be held by someone else and they constantly try to grab them from us, maybe for taking photos or just holding them. Moms know what’s best for their babies ! I have decided to avoid putting my baby in such a situation. I plan to celebrate in a way that won’t cost a lot or put him under stress, rather I’d do something that means a lot to him. We have decided to just travel somewhere where he can enjoy nature and small gathering (around 10/15ppl) with family close friends like a picnic. I am not meaning to not celebrate but keeping in mind what they need and giving them that memory to cherish 🙂Just sharing my perspective here. Wishing you loads of happy times and celebrations with your little one💫
