Aside from the one in this video I have only seen a small handful where the bookmatching looks good. Most look terrible as if they didn't even try to match the two halves.

The perfect guitar DOES exist. The only thing that could make it better is if it had the Devin Townsend Fishman Pickups so you could get the third voice of a single coil.

I have the Jackson soloist, same, in unicorn white. Thinking about this Jackson you have, but how would you compare the pickups to the Seymour Duncans that come in the Jacksons normally? the passives? Do they sound good for metal, or do they add too much harshness? also, how long would you say the batteries last? Never had actives before. If they die and you don't have any around, will the passive version still work? great channel you have. thanks.

for playing metal, in my opinion, you should better putt active pickups in your guitare. I play hardcore metal and love EMG81 for many years. I have tried the Seymour Duncan blackout Mick Thomson few weeks ago: they are crazy!! i will replace my emg's by blackouts 😉

That guitar looks exactly like Schecter Mach-6.

Well, it does not. Also its specs are not similar at all. :)
