It's easy! He did the trick 1000 times and guessed the cards totally at random and made the video only with the parts he accidentally guessed!

I find that an odd reaction as well. You get the impression that if he was sawing a lady in half, his audience would have no reaction, so he’d be saying “Oh my god, how did I do that? I just sawed a lady in half!” Or “What do you know, she WAS in TWO pieces, now she’s back in ONE PIECE!!!”
It’s the equivalent of a comedian having to explain their joke. If you have to do that, it wasn’t magic/funny.

I think he is pointing at the card, or doing something to a pre chosen card that tricks the eyes into looking at a specific card. Then he takes it away before they can see why they looked at the card or choose another card!

Jordi Gonzalez it’s a reverse fan so when he fans out the cards, all of them are so close together you just see the white on them not the actual card, so the only one you can see is the top card, that’s why none of them were getting excited because what they saw was 1 card so they knew it was easy for him but what we saw was mind trickery

We know, trick is time sensitive, works every time, trick revealed when entire audience sees deck
Rich was doing the famous blank fan (also known as the reversed fan) which means that there was only one visible index. That explains why the audience wasn't reacting as much as you'd expect with a trick like this.

One card is open more in the middle of the fan. Basically the only almost full card they see. Very good trick. Tutorial video please.

I know how . I have done this before. You just fan the cards from the other side so that no one could see number on top left and bottom right on every card except the bottom card . Since you did it so first no one notice a thing but only remeber the bottom card. Then you just cut the deck put bottom part on top and made it look like you make the card appear from the middle

To make the trick look more real you may have a card which was printed in the opposite direction so that only its no. Was visible when faned from reverse
Using similar physchology to this trick, (i.e an instant stooge), I once forced a card on the male of a couple, then displayed the same card many times to his girlfriend (Svengali) to establish a "connection" between them. Worked well, though the girl was surprised to see all the same card, but she didn't give the game away.
The Tutorial :
So simple, he just need to know the bottom card. That’s it.
If you can make a perfect fan it’s hard to chose a card in this short of time so everyone one selected the bottom card since it’s easy to see.
Now watch it again and you will understand.

But even when he tries to find the card it was between the deck it is no way it is the bottom card

Its not because its easy to see... It because you can ONLY see that one card... Like one of the other comments already said. Just do a reversed fan and youre good to go.
Maybe it's the last card that is fully exposed at the end of the deck. It would be easy to see. Then cut the deck so it looks like your taking it from the middle.
I was thinking the same thing. He probably did it a 100X's until he got a good amount of people who actually picked that card.

Well for those accusing him of doing a reverse fan, they're right. Instead of making a normal fan (clockwise), he's going counterclockwise. If you can do that perfectly all the cards appear blank, or the edges of the cards appear missing. I havent done card tricks in a long time! You can see that he does the reverse fan though clearly in the early beginning. I'm just trying to figure out still though how he forces the card on them. I know he makes them choose pretty quickly too, so something there before they have time to figure it out.

Slightly larger gap for one central card, more space=eye goes to that card, you do trickery to get that card out, BAM this is your card!!
He did a reverse fan, in which only one card is visible and he specifically says to the spectator to memorise one card that they see , and they think of the only card visible and he takes out that card
I THINK that most of the time they think about the only card that they see clearly (the bottom one) and then you show it in an impressive way

It's the card at the bottom, it has the clearest picture and when spread leaves the biggest imprint on your memory
If the trick works 100%; then you could do the rising card at the end then let say the spec their card out loud and BOOM!!
My thoery is the symbol of the cards is on upper left and lower right. But the magician is spreading the cards in a wrong way for him to hide the symbols, and force the audience to pick the front card. He basically show the cards circular because it is the fastest way and the best angle to misdirect the audience. He also show it really fast and in front of the face for them to didnt notice the trick.

A reversed fan, only the blank (white) edge of the cards is visible. So the only one they can choose is the bottom card.

Maybe when you fan the cards you put your finger on the card that you wanna force.. Which makes the spectator most of the time think of it......
Actually I know a lot of ways to do this trick but I can't write everything I know because it will take a lot of time and writing
And maybe you put the card that you wanna force(if you wanna force a red card) between 8 black cards which makes the spectator look at it draws attention

How do you do it
You force the card onto them via skillful fanning. This will be the only one they see and it's quick enough for them not to realize what is happening.
I guess this trick is simple, if you noticed, he "shoved" those cards right in front of his targets. our eyes and brain can quickly see and remember one of the cards that is so particular. (watch Now You See Me movie, there's a scene quite like this).

Its not very easy trick....He hold the fan in such a way that only one card is highlighted which desired ....Which is near the center...And that needs lot of practice....He is very good at it...Great style

I think I seen this trick before. What you do is you force the person to pick that card. What it means is that you show the cards very close to the audience's face and they will remember the card immediately.Just look at 1:10 and 1:46 and 4:01

Uhmm I think its on how fast you fast think of a card then they always will choose the middle card which is also you've forced to go to middle. Then also forced it to go to top.
He makes the fan holding cards in the right hand - audience sees white corners of all of them apart from the bottom one. If hey are amazed it’s only because they can’t figure out how he is able to show them all plaing cards are normal (while choosing they appeares blank)
This force is just so dumb and obvious it shouldn't work. It's like the bluff pass, because it just shouldn't work. I never would have thought to use a reverse fan as a force, but I have to try it now.
I've been using it for almost 50 years. I always use it with a wife and husband. I let the husband pick a card, and control it to the bottom of the deck. I'll ask the wife to "think of any card she sees", and say it with a wink so she plays along. When her husband is stunned she knows the card, I get a good laugh warning him that she always knows what he's thinking. It's a fun way to obtain an "instant assistant".
